Would you be able to confirm that a retail manager working within a well known supermarket would be acceptable as a referee. I'm assuming that it as a couple of my wife's friends have used them for their application but just wanted to get your opinion.

We are hoping to get the application complete in the next few weeks. When it comes to the referees are they required to sign something or is it just a case of getting their details and putting them on the application form?
