Re: Petition for Tier 2

The problem with the Change.org petition is it doesn't have any government influence, which is unfortunate. Ours is picking up steam though, please keep sharing!

Re: Petition for Tier 2

I had a go at it - Any thoughts? Needs to succinct but also get the point across. The below fits in to the petition website forms (just!) Remove shortage occupation codes and NHS roles from Tier 2 Visa cap --- Since December 2017, the points required to obtain a Restricted Certificate of Sponsorship...

Re: April 2018 Restricted COS

I don't understand why so many people are all of a sudden applying for this visa as well. What's the deal? Because there is no Tier in 2 ICT Short term visa ... So if some one is looking to apply for under Tier 2 there there are 2 choices ... ICT and General. Since there is no ICT short term visa a...

Re: April 2018 Restricted COS

I asked my lawyer and looked at the guidance and exceptional circumstances are VERY EXCEPTIONAL - things like technical failure or a surgeon scheduled to operate before the next allocation It is unlikely that so many people reporting ...

Re: March 2018 Restricted COS

I guess not shocking news with the cut off. Scary seeing it so high again would have been great if it somehow stayed at 46 with the lower amount of visas available. Surely the Home Office has to make some sort of changes. Looking at the usual amount of visas given out a month and doing some simple ...

Tier 5 to Tier 2 - RCoS or UCoS

You do need an RCoS and you also need to leave the country to apply. You can't switch from Tier 5 to Tier 2, you have no make a new visa application.

Re: March 2018 Restricted COS

It's really difficult to predict. My understanding is 150 each month from December which makes it 750 in the April month. Lets remove 150 from December as I believe many around 45 band will be expired due to RLMT validity. And some 100 where they have raised the salary or pulled out, makes it 500. ...

Re: March 2018 Restricted COS

Hi all. I’m a business journalist looking at the four-month-streak on the cap. I’m trying to find employers who have been denied a certificate since December to talk about the struggles they’re having. I’d also like to hear from prospective employees who have likewise been denied a visa long-term. ...
