I don't know what "fixed" allowance means. Like guaranteed allowance . Would not change during the term of your employment and would have been offered to a local as well if they were offered the role Yes, that is what it is. It won't change during the term of my employment, and it would h...

Please update if any doctor gets cos approval as well.
Is there any forum for doctors and nurses separately since they have been pulled out from restricted cos ?
There's no cap so my understanding is you will be approved unless your application is invalid.

Any idea what types of documents can be sent through email against queries raised by HO. My employer is confused as there's nothing mentioned in the email. Is it possible to send ZIP file by clubbing all the documents to HO? Any hint where can we get such information? https://assets.publishing.serv...

Hi Please may I know if you have a link about discussions on if HO requests further information from Sponsor? When do they usually request further information, is it after 11th or between 5th to 11th or before the 5th? And what information do they request as my employer has been requested further i...

It was being refused for last 5 months, so I assumed the information we sent earlier were okay as there were no counter questions raised by HO. Anyone with similar situation? We...

What's your current salary? Your solicitor may be advising against increasing the salary as it's likely to go through with the new rule changes?

I just came across this website as I too was curious why there wasn't any decision yet to be made. Maybe someone can tell me what my points would be. My base is upwards of 80k and not on shortage occupation list. You likely have 75 points https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-ru...

I know this topic is going to close, as we are way off topic now, but can we please stop saying the UK is a small island so that's why they should be justified in implementing a cap? It's such a weak argument. Each and every one of us has a job offer and unemployment is at the lowest it's been since...

Double check the ownership of Company A. If they are a subsidiary of Company B, then yes, you can be sponsored by Company A, provided they are sending the pay checks. Alternatively, Company A can get a branch license of Company B. But it really depends how it's all set up. Ask the company, you migh...

Re: Enter UK before COS start date

You can enter 14 days before the start date on your certificate. https://www.gov.uk/tier-2-general I would assume that if you enter before then, you could enter on a tourist visit and leave the country to reenter on Tier 2, but keep in mind it would depend if the border thought you were a legitimate...

My immigration lawyer has said the current guidance only states that shortage occupations must be a minimum of 30 hours. She also mentions she has a sponsored employee who works 28 hours per week. Re: June 2018 Restricted COS

I strongly believe there are no updates from HO itself. So , we should wait until next week to get clear picture. Anyways people with 40-45 points might get clear in coming months. But can anyone confirm if minimum points is 21 or 32 to get Rcos ? Thanks The typical number of minimum is 21 points b...
