I doubt 45 points will be successful this month too
Although this looks likely given the pattern maybe let’s not worry people/ruin their hopes before more of the allocations because nobody actually knows with any certainty what will happen.

Re: May 2018 Restricted COS

FYI - May 2018 allocations have begun. After 5 months and two failed RLMTs... I just received a call from my employer, and they received my RCoS today. Point total is 75 the cut since dec-17 has been 56 points, not sure why you didn't receive RCoS earlier They said that their RLMT was done incorrec...

When will the results start coming in..really eager to get some news
Since the cap has been repeatedly oversubscribed we rarely hear anything on the first day, and given it’s Friday I wouldn’t expect to hear much until next week.

Re: VFS Global Process form Australia

You can’t apply until 3 months before your intended travel date. That means your online application where you pay your fees, put in your RCoS number, etc. So if your intended date of travel is the 1st of October you can’t apply until the 1st of July at the earliest. There’s absolutely nothing you ca...

Rcos points - Already got Tier 2 but Reapplying for Tier 2 due to mistake in CoS

@Jack79.. As far as I kind NHS are not allowed to take more than 1/3 of Monthly allocated COS applications. If NHS required to apply more than 1/3 then they might go through this Lottery stystem.. Hi, this isn’t true. What the Home Office has said is that they estimate that approximately 1/3 of RCo...

From what I remember the petition outlined the current general tier 2 issue well but wasn't 100% clear on what specific changes to it the writer would like to see debated.

Re: Petition for Tier 2

It seemed very thorough to me so I'm not sure what could have been done to make it better.

Although from the feedback it seems it needs to be made very clear what specific action you'd like to raise.

What is your actual job title? Please note that not all roles in a SOC code are automatically classed as shortage.

My HR said, the application has met minimum requirements but wasn’t lucky to be picked up from the lot allotted to NHS, for NHS, does it work this way. No it doesn’t work like that. NHS come from the same allocation as everyone else. It’s just if you’re a nurse or another profession on the shortage...

In early March I think it was during PM question time in parliament the MP for Cambridge told Teresa May that one of their hospitals (Addenbrooks) hadn’t been able to recruit doctors due the tier 2 visa caps. Teresa May responded that she’d been made aware of the tier 2 issue and was going to look i...

Out of curiosity,

I was on a tier 4 and moved to tier 5. Could I then switch to tier 2?
I'm guessing that answer is no. But just wondering is it possible.
No that's not possible. You can switch from tier 4 to tier 2 while your visa is still valid but you can't switch to anything from tier 5 YMS.

Re: TIER 5 Ended

Hi! I recently had my Tier 5 YMS visa end. I had a job lined up as well and was going to get sponsored under the TIER 2 visa. However, with the current influx of applications for certificates of sponsorships it is unlikely I can apply through this route. Any other options? Or is my chance of being ...
