Hi, I am a British citizen. My wife recently submitted a FLRM visa extension application. She submitted and signed the part 1. For part 2 and 3 she wrote not applicable. I (husband) signed the declaration for spouses form. I am currently not employed and she works as a dentist and has her income cov...

Naturalisation Application

Hi, Can anyone guide on how to calculate 1 year period? Is it the same date that is listed on your ILR permit or one day later than that? Is the form to be submitted after this 1 year period or the submission can be done before? I am asking because I guess in the online form they ask to choose an ap...

Naturalisation Application

Hi, I got my ILR on the 2nd of October last year. I started filling up the form for naturalisation online. Is that the right form? I wanted to know when I should press the submit button? Would it be 2nd of October this year or 3rd? What happens after that? I guess I need to do biometrics but if peop...

Re: ILR dependent

She has no restrictions to practice as a dentist if she gets FLRM. She is currently sitting her second exam to qualify and practice here in the UK. Previous visa had: no dentist/dr training remarks.

ILR dependent

Hi,
I am settled in the UK and got my ILR based recently based on tier-2 visa (5y route, 2013-2018). My wife was dependent with me from Apr 2016. Now we have applied for FLRM visa. Will she be able to apply for ILR based on 5 years in total or she has to complete 5 years in one category.
Thanks,
Bruno

Re: Applying for ILR

Its because I don't have ILR yet. Hence I thought I can make in an application on 02/10/2018 but wasn't sure if she could apply the same time as me for her FLR(M) because we both will be applying by the postal route. Because she will be switching from her current tier-2 to FLR(M), I wasnt sure if ap...

Re: Applying for ILR

Thanks for the prompt response. You can clear my doubt: Since I am eligible to apply on 02/10/2018, it is fine. But because tier 2 visa rules state application can only be made 3 months in advance which means 14/10/2018 for spouse visa. Do I need to send in her application then because her visa fini...

Re: Applying for ILR

Hi, I have a question: My tier 2 visa was granted on 30/10/2013. Does it mean, I can send my application on 02/10/2018? Have I correctly counted the 28 days prior period? Can I apply for FLR(M) visa for my wife at the same time when I make this application or do I ave to wait till I get response on ...

Re: Applying for ILR

under the 5 year route. I am thinking of the same for my wife's application but once I get ILR I am wondering what is the best option available for her as she is a dentist and would have cleared all her exams in order to practice here. Currently she is PBS dependent on my tier-2 visa.

Applying for ILR

Hi, I will be grateful if you could write in the replies below rather than re-directing me to some links as I have gone through them already. I qualify for ILR in Sept. I just need advice for my wife. My wife came here in 2016 as a PBS dependant. She is a dentist. She cleared her ORE-1 and is now ap...
