Re: Spouse Visa for My Russian Wife - Please Help

I wanted to ask when your bio was done did they ask about IHS number at TLScontact centre? TLScontact in Kyiv did not ask my wife about her IHS number, and were not interested in seeing the IHS payment confirmation when offered to them. From the webpage https://www.gov.uk/healthcare-immigration-app...

Re: anyone know how to withdraw visa application from Visa4UK?

On my wife's settlement visa account, I discovered the following:

Selected 'View Payment'
Selected 'Request Refund'- which has a free-form area to explain why you want a refund.

Just them you want a refund as you want to cancel the Visa.

TLScontact were just trying to get you to buy their 'Priority Visa' Added Service, which costs € 251.35 in Kiev.

TLSContact Kiev - Spouse Visa

Has anyone dealt with TLSContact in either Kiev or Russia? My wife has recently applied for her settlement spouse visa at Kiev, and received a FCO email telling her to take all supporting documents to her biometrics interview. However, TLSContact had previously told me that the documents should be s...

Re: Help with booking appt on Visa4uk site!!

Yes, I would wait a few weeks to check if the May appointments become available.

Added Value Services can be purchased at the Visa Centres which increases the visa cost. This includes prime time appointments (about € 103), passport retention (about € 70), and priority sevice (€ 651).

Re: Help with booking appt on Visa4uk site!!

It is logical that UKVI only has April appointments available on today, 9th April. You will have to wait until May appointments become available on the system. Remember they want to make money from people in a hurry for a VAC appointment, not someone seeking next month! Hope this helps.

Re: Skype History Missing - Visa Communication

Some of the Skype history information remains on your PC. Although the video history has been deleted, the chat message/history remains. Use the freeware tool SkypeLogView to extract the chat history from your PC as evidence. Hope this helps.

Re: IELTS for UKVI accepted?

Secondly, I don’t want to sit the test which I have already. If you look on the IELTS web site, https://takeielts.britishcouncil.org/ielts-ukvi/score it is clearly written: Family route - 4.0 IELTS for UKVI in speaking and listening. UKVI issues the visa, not the British Council! Look at the UK gov...

Re: IELTS for UKVI accepted?

I have been studying the Spouse Visa rules prior to my Ukrainian wife's application. The rules are clearly set out by IELTS at https://www.ielts.org/book-a-test/find-a-test-location You must take the option for 'IELTS Life Skills' and find a test centre offering either Life Skills A1 or Life Skills ...
