Job creation questions

Guys, I have the following questions on the job creation, any help whatsoever will be highly appreciated: 1) Applied for Tier 1 extension in March 2019 received BRP July 2019 (so new BRP dated July 2019) 2) Now applying for ILR and the question is around job creation. I would assume that in order to...

So it appears they are going somewhat by IDV biometrics submission date. My biometrics submission was 5th September (application 25 June) and nothing yet

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

UKVCAS's fresh update says "It’s taken us a little longer to prepare the IDV app for Group applicants which meant that some cases were delayed, but this has now been resolved." What is the definition of "Group applicants"? 2 and more? That is, once again, a lie from them - I kno...

Re: **** COVID19 Biometrics appointments and UKVCAS ***** (Discuss here ONLY)

Today's update from UKVCAS: We are successfully ramping up volumes and are now fully up speed and able to process more than 5,000 applications a day. It’s taken us a little longer to prepare the IDV app for Group applicants which meant that some cases were delayed, but this has now been resolved.

Re: **** COVID19 Biometrics appointments and UKVCAS ***** (Discuss here ONLY)

Can someone who has Twitter please ask them why people who HAVE been identified for IDV app have not received their invitations in accordance with the timing of application, i.e., why people who applied later than them were allowed to use IDV app?

Re: **** COVID19 Biometrics appointments and UKVCAS ***** (Discuss here ONLY)

To be honest that is a complete joke and I wish there was something we could do! A friend of mine applied fort a Tier 2 visa on the 22nd of AUGUST, already got an email allowing to book biometrics and he is going tomorrow. How is that fair to the people who have been waiting for the app?

Re: **** COVID19 Biometrics appointments and UKVCAS ***** (Discuss here ONLY)

I think what I find the most annoying in this is the wrong and misleading information that they provide on their website: they say that the invites would be sent in date order, and that is clearly not true.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Not heard of any IDV invites yet. Has the app turned nocturnal since Sunday? Seems like UKVCAS is on a break. Maybe the invites resume in a day or two. Don't want to ring any alarm bells but looking at the pattern, It could be that UKVCAS has already sent IDV invitations to everyone till Ju...

Re: **** COVID19 Biometrics appointments and UKVCAS ***** (Discuss here ONLY)

Hi all, so I logged back in UKVCAS to upload documents and book an appointment for naturalization application today (last time I used for indefinite leave to remain). But I couldnt get any appointments even up to 27th Sep but do I need to wait for UKVCAS to send an email for IDV or letting me know ...

Re: **** COVID19 Biometrics appointments and UKVCAS ***** (Discuss here ONLY)

Wise ones, please can anyone proffer a reason why IDV invites are sent at unsociable hours. At times 11pm on Sunday. just baffling. I would take an invite at any hour, since a lot of us from June still have heard nothing at all and people from July already submitted their biometrics. UKVCAS clearly...

Yes, it was me who got asked for additional documents. Had to do with the fact that husband has a LOT of absences, requested additional documents to do with his life here (in addition to the passport), so any bills, property docs and pretty much anything to do with that

@mmas0112 can you please set out from the beginning the timeline and why did the UKVCAS email you. It is confusing what is happening and why they sent you something. Just so people can understand exactly what is happening.

I know the deadline has passed to opt out of IDV for June applicants, but has anyone tried opting out anyway. Maybe they would accept latecomers?

https://s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/soprasteria-ukvi-prd-ukvcas/FAQ.pdf The above guidance was updated on 19th August, showing IDV launch week commencing 17th. I am pretty hopeful that the IDV invites will start pouring in today or tomorrow. Plus, one thing to note is, once you hit the submit button...

Re: Referee Details & naturalisation

Start the application online and answer the questions, the form will guide you. Do not worry about the name of the form, the system will start the required form for your situation based on your answers. You must have 2 referees

Re: **** COVID19 Biometrics appointments and UKVCAS ***** (Discuss here ONLY)

Those are all parts of the same process. As part of your application you have to submit biometrics, before you would have booked an appointment online and attended a centre. The biometrics is actually taken by a separate company not UKVI. Due to Covid-19 and centres being closed they have introduced...

Re: Sending additional documents after attending UKVCAS appointment? (CSI)

We were recently asked to provide additional documents in connection with the application in June 2020 and the email that we received the request from (and to which the documents were sent) was: CT4CaseworkEnquiries@homeoffice.gov.uk
May be worth sending to that one as well
