Even a Butcher earns the same points (60) as an Engineer in the General Skilled Migration List of Occupations.
it takes years to become a qualified butcher, (both study wise and practical)just like it did for you to become qualified in your feild

hi pixiegirl98, yes, send them in with your application, it will save time. we got the medicals sent by the doctor who done them to the office where we applied, for the visa. also sent the police checks in with our application. good luck:)

hi morrisde, we wrote ours like a story with details, feelings etc. as for verified copies, we had alot of things to send in, and it was going to cost a small fortune to have them all verified from a solicitor,so we only did birth certs, passports etc through one. no agent, we do have a child, done all the work ourselves, and it took 3 and a half weeks from application sent until final decision. so for all you people doing the work yourselves, just research the booklets, check double check and make sure you send everything with the application. we front loade...

hi morrisde, have you read through the partnership migration booklet(1127), it lets you know what criteria you need to meet. do you have any kids with your partner?this can make a difference to the 12 month relationship rule. no use applying until you have lived together for 12 months otherwise. not...

thanx for the help docterror. will it matter that my visit visa will be near expired when i send off the paperwork? i read somewhere that the EEA1 and 2 can take up to 6 months to recieve. by then i am hoping to be back in oz. i just dont want to be illegal.

i am here on a visit visa, yes, getting married in ireland and residing in n/i.,beau has had british citizenship since birth and recently got his irish one too (any one born on the island of ireland is entitled to irish citizenship, as i am sure you know). thanx for replying

thanx for reply. when i came here, i was only supposed to stay for 6 weeks, had abit of trouble getting through customs. i dont want them to think i am staying for good. thought a cover letter might help??
