Re: March 2018 Restricted COS

I called Home Office and was informed that the 32 points mentioned in the below document on Page 7 is an error and the minimum is still 21/22 https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/687048/Rcos_v2.0ext.pdf Thank you very much for calling them and clearing that up. ...

Re: March 2018 Restricted COS

Hi all. I’m a business journalist looking at the four-month-streak on the cap. I’m trying to find employers who have been denied a certificate since December to talk about the struggles they’re having. I’d also like to hear from prospective employees who have likewise been denied a visa long-term. ...

Re: March 2018 Restricted COS

Also, I would just like to say to everyone to not discourage anyone on this forum. I am seeing a number of people with higher points (some of the 40+ holders) discouraging people with lower points (20-39) on this forum by saying that you would have to wait for another two more months .. blah blah. ...

Re: March 2018 Restricted COS

Hey Shebahanaa, hang in there. The main reason this happened was because of the NHS winter crisis which lead to a mass recruitment of overseas nurses as well as a shortage of CoS' owing to the end of the financial year. From April onward the score should gradually come back down to normal since the...

Re: March 2018 Restricted COS

Hi everybody. Nice to see you all again. May we never have to see each other on here again someday! 30 points, non shortage, refused in Feb, trying again for March pessimistically. I was on a tier 4, but my employer's sponsor licence wasn't approved until just SEVEN days after my visa expired. I pac...

Re: February 2018 Restricted COS

I think it's fair to say the points didn't change much this month. This is worrying because it is suspected that February had more allocation than other months. March is pretty much a write off as there is such a small amount of spots for the month. I have 31 points and I don't even see much hope i...

Re: February 2018 Restricted COS

Hi all, I was on a Tier 4 visa working for my employer after my studies, but my visa expired end of January, just one week before their sponsor licence was approved so I've had to leave the country. They submitted for this month's allocation. I'm at 30 points, not on shortage occupation list, althou...
