I don't think the cut-off is at £60K - I'm sure it's less. In my particular case, the extra scrutiny was around my job title as opposed to salary. According to my lawyer, the Home Office places greater scrutiny on all 'Business Development Manager' job titles (which is what I am) as the Home Offices...
