Re: Need clarification please...

It is very obvious that Foreigner wants to come to the UK and not return in 2021 when his visa / right to be here expires, that is if he even does have one based on a marriage that has broken down completely. He was so desperate to get to the UK, he married a lady who he said had mental issues, so ...

You will need to read your contract of employment, since none of us here have access to it, how can anyone provide a sensible answer?

Leo,

Zerubbabel is right, and his advice is not IMHO taunting. It is straightforward and tells it how it is.

Re: Heartless government to increase IHS from £400 to £625 as part of hostile policy

Precisely JB. But it is hard to explain to people who think the UK is anti immigration, because like all many other countries we control immigration, that their monthly NI payment taken from their salary does not go anywhere near the amount that they would cost the NHS if they unfortunately needed l...

Re: 10 years ILR Refusing for tax discrepancy ! please advice

If they are reputable, they should act in the best interests of the client and give honest advice. If not, they will do as you say CR, so good point, the OP should use one from the recommended solicitors linked to from HO Web page. However, no one on here is going to be able to help him any further ...

Re: 10 years ILR Refusing for tax discrepancy ! please advice

A good lawyer will be able to tell you with more certainty whether you have a win-able case and if so represent you so you stand the best chance. If he is honest, his advice might be do not bother, since you will not win. So, from your answer it is now very obvious you did artificially inflate your ...

Re: 10 years ILR Refusing for tax discrepancy ! please advice

It seems obvious from the OP's complete avoidance of answering the question that has been put to him so many times, that he is in-fact guilty of misrepresenting his financial situation to illegally obtain a visa, and as such now he has been caught, is desperately trying to find a way he can continue...

Re: Claiming benefits and meeting the minmium requirement threshold

As far as I can see, you should be paying council tax at the full rate, I can not see why you think you are a full time student as you are employed by as an architect assistant, and you do a day release course. You are an employed person. Two adults neither of whom should be able to get a discount. ...

Re: Made redundant cases - how to stay on tier 2 as long as you can

I would assume that most people would apply for the GT visa first off, rather trying to find a T2 job, if they met the criteria though?

Re: Made redundant cases - how to stay on tier 2 as long as you can

And do you think there is a snowballs chance in hell that there will be any jobs available in the next 12 months, with a global recession heading our way? I fear things will be hard, and while it is of course his decision to stay and try, I think it will be a futile effort. And 99% he will have to g...

Re: Made redundant cases - how to stay on tier 2 as long as you can

The reason I asked these questions is that my thoughts would be rather than hunt for a job here, while unable to work for any company to earn some income to help pay the rent and feed yourself, outtablue might be better off going back (where the cost of living might be lower) and finding a job from ...

Is he allowed to work for another company on his Tier 2 visa? And, if so does that company have to have the correct license to employ people from outside the EU? Does a company that might employ him have to prove that they have done the minimum required amount of recruitment from within the UK befor...

Re: Heartless government to increase IHS from £400 to £625 as part of hostile policy

You've missed the point Forrest, the IHS is a payment that goes towards any treatment they may need in the years to come, since the NI that most people pay (possibly in their working lifetime), would be nowhere near enough to cover the cost to treat that patient, if say they got cancer or run over b...

Re: Heartless government to increase IHS from £400 to £625 as part of hostile policy

Zer, you raised some very valid points I agree with. The incentive to get to the UK is so high, just look at all those poor Vietnamese people who perished recently. What a tragedy, and you're right maybe it would not happen so much, if the people who were caught were sent straight back. I do feel so...

Re: 10 years ILR Refusing for tax discrepancy ! please advice

Arka, did you or did you not inflate your income to gain a tier one visa? You avoid answering this or providing specific details, and so it is not possible to determine what case you have. Which to my mind the HO think you got caught red handed and are now trying to find a way to remain in the UK us...

His actions make my blood boil, and he is the last person this country needs sponging off us. My advice, is to keep detailed records of his actions firstly and all correspondence. Re: Heartless government to increase IHS from £400 to £625 as part of hostile policy

Well Zerr, rather like the way the government will not pay ransom because it encourages other kidnappings, the government should not allow people to stay if they managed to evade the law for 20 years. 20 years without contributing to society or paying tax etc and potentially encourages illegal activ...

Wow, that sounds terrible. Lost most of their possessions, and house etc, they must be so upset. I feel sure they would be granted asylum in that case, although do not take my word for it. I do hope they bought good evidence to prove their plight. You are from Belgium, wouldn't it be easier to take ...

Re: Tier 2 redundancies

It may well be that even if you have to return to your home country now, in time, you will be able to return on another T2 visa, and maybe the HO will consider your previous length in UK as part of 5 years needed for ILR? Given the circumstances by which you were forced to go home, but this is obvio...

Rubbish, they would stay in their own country. Equally, if they arrived here and later decided they wanted to leave, because they go...
