One think which I cant understand is what exactly people think when they dream of working in UK? Do people think that they can save around £3K or more per month? Here most of the local British IT guys would be happy to save even £1k per month. I think, some humans just lack the attitude and wants ...

Yes, it is true. Think twice before switching form HSMP to WP.
WP to HSMP is OK.
Rules are changing every fortnight. Who knows HO might change ILR (PR) rule again.

If you have choice simply say NO and continue on HSMP.

If it becomes impossible that you wont qualify for HSMP then it would make sense.

What should you say when agencies asks...

Many a times agencies ask me, 1. Have you got any offers? 2. Have you got any interviews lined up? Given any interviews so far? etc etc I always say "just started no luck". Even thought that is not true. But some of the agencies simply hang up by saying how come.... etc... My question is w...

Well, I would say that different things work for different people. I have worked in India and UK and I know the differences, I know what I have gained/gaining and what I have lost/loosing. We don't live in perfect world. Even if relocate to Moon/Mars/Pluto etc we will gain and loose something. As in...

The way I see is, If you want to enjoy your life, you got active night life and don't care about how much you save, then just Live in London. If money saving is your first priority then stay out of london. I have lived 4.5 years in UK but working outside UK and desperately want to move to London and...

Get a credit card and buy EVERYTHING on credit card.
i.e. use it wherever you can...
if you buy something expensive e.g. TV take it on installments ...
It usually takes around two years to build good credit history.

This is definitely ridicules. How will you know whether your relative is going to abscond or not.
Worst case, if you too nice relatives say that "give me £10K otherwise I will overstay and you will land in jail"
