Re: British Citizenship - New Online Application

No! You can get the referee forms at the end of the application BEFORE the declaration and payment option. You will have to fill the application and reach till the end to get them. Where can I get the referee forms? I am at stage 5 out of 6, the one called “pay”. All I can seem to be able to do is ...

Re: British Citizenship - New Online Application

Thanks for the responses. Even through, I can't see any reason they'd want us to, I'll take a printout just to be on the safer side.

Re: British Citizenship - New Online Application

Ah cool, thanks for that.

One more question, for my NDRS application, am i supposed to take a print out of my online submitted application form as well? I just don't want to print out this massive form without a need for it.

Re: British Citizenship - New Online Application

Hi Guys, a quick question for those who've used the Online method of application. Can someone throw some light on the Acknowledgement letter/email for the application? I applied for my naturalization yesterday online and have my NDRS appointment tomorrow. I made the payment yesterday and got an imme...

Re: British Citizenship - New Online Application

Hi Everyone, Could someone please confirm how does the "must be in the country 5 years ago" rule calculated here? My assumption is that 5 years are counted from the day I Submit my application online and pay the fees. After that on the date I drop my documents at the council, I could have ...

Re: JCAP Not possible ?

Some councils still allow JCAP with NCS, however, alot of them have stopped it now.

But it is now allowed mostly with NDRS (Online application).

Reading Council for example, allows JCAP with both so far

Hi Guys I wanted to ask a couple of questions regarding the new Online/NDRS application. I have a NCS appointment in a couple of weeks, but am pondering if going with Online application could be a better way. Could someone please advice: 1. I assume the 5 year period for Online application is counte...

Re: English Language Requirements for Naturalisation

Thanks Amr. I spoke to a colleague of mine who had applied for his Citizenship in Feb 2017 following a similar path as us (Tier1 - 1 yr ILR) and had used the PBC for his KOLL during the ILR. He checked that box in the application form (suggesting he already met those requirements) and took his origi...

It's definitely still available. A couple of newer services like previously mentioned JCAP and NDRS have also been introduced.

Re: English Language Requirements for Naturalisation

Thanks for the response. But I'd ideally not got for either unless I absolutely need to.

That's why I'm checking on the boards as I'm hopeful someone has solved this dilemma recently.

English Language Requirements for Naturalisation

Hi Everyone, I'll be looking to apply for naturalisation in a couple of weeks via NCS. I got my ILR in Feb 2016 after 5 years of Tier 1 (General). During my ILR application, I simply used the PBS to showcase my knowledge of english language and qualifications along with my orignal degree & unive...
