So, can I apply for an ILR before May 2023

No you cannot. Your qualifying period starts from the initial visa issue date. Your CoS dates are irrelevant.
or do I need to talk to my employer for an extension and can apply for an ILR in Aug 2023?
Yes.
Thanks for a quick response!

Confirm Eligibility for ILR Application

Hi, I applied for a Tier 2 General visa with a CoS date of 23-Apr-2018 to 22-Apr-2023. However, there were delays in travelling to the UK and I entered the UK on 20-Aug-2018 (as stamped on the vignette in my passport). My BRP also shows the date of issue as 14-Aug-2018. The end date of the BRP, thou...

Tier 2 Dependent Visa Switch from ICT Tier 2 from UK

Hi, My spouse has been offered a Tier 2 visa by her employer. As she was working on an ICT Tier 2 Dependent visa, she had to fly back to India to apply. I want to move to Tier 2 Dependent Visa from my current ICT Tier 2 visa once she joins back in the UK. Couple of questions: 1. Can I keep working i...

Visitor Visa for Daughter

Hi,

My BRP card is set to expire in June. But I will file an extension after that.

My wife was on a dependent visa and it has the same expiry date. However, my daughter was born in India. Is it possible to have my wife fly out on the dependent visa and my daughter on a visitor visa?

Re: Dependent Visa for Child with Main Visa Holder on ICT Tier 2

Hi Secret Simon,

Thanks for your reply. I can wait, but I was just weighing my options to look at the possibility of meeting my wife and baby earlier.

Dependent Visa for Child with Main Visa Holder on ICT Tier 2

Hi, Mine is a peculiar case. I have an ICT Tier 2 visa for 3 years but my BRP expires in June. My current project may end in May but there are chances of renewal as well - no assurance on that. My wife was with me on a dependent visa. We have had a baby in India. Now, I want to call my wife and baby...
