How long will HO keep passport?

Hi all,
Now that the NDRS is gone, has anyone had any experience with how long the HO keeps the supporting documents? Of most concern: How long do they keep the passport?

Re: HELP!!! No more paper applications!

Could you post a link to where you saw that guidance re: November 29th? I can't see that anywhere on the website.

Re: HELP!!! No more paper applications!

Okay, thanks. The main problem here is that I now have no way of knowing if I will now be submitting the correct application. I had the latest version downloaded/printed. It hasn't changed since 7/2018 but if there is a newer version, I will no longer have access to the paper version and they could ...

HELP!!! No more paper applications!

As of today 1st November, the paper application for ILR (I'm Set M) is no longer available on the Government's website. It says all applicants must now apply online. I have already booked my in-person PEO appointment for 14th November. I've already printed and filled out my application and paid. Do ...

Proof of Cohabitation docs

Hi all, I got a letter from my GP for both my husband and I as part of the requirement for proof of cohabitation. It has no body, but at the top it has my name, address, birthday, age, my NHS number, the date I became registered at that surgery. It is stamped with the name and address of the surgery...

Payslip Attestation

Hi all, My husband's company recently switched over to online pay slips. I understand that a print out of the pay slips will only be accepted if they are "stamped and signed" by the employer. Stamped with what exactly? Signed by who? The company is Canadian with a branch in the UK and he g...

Re: Online council tax bill

I guess I can try. The Home Office really needs to consider that most things are online these days. I can't wait until this whole process is over so I can stop getting paper copies of everything!

Online council tax bill

Hi all, I'm applying for ILR as the partner of a UK citizen this autumn. The last time I renewed my FLR, as part of our proof of cohabitation, we provided a council tax bill. Our council has since converted to online only statements. Will a printout of this be sufficient proof? I understand that pri...
