Hi GMO, Yes, if you have the latest proof of english (UK degree) that can be used. Some people used IELTS or other sources of english proof for entry clearance for points based system. Hi,
Just wanted to share my experience.
Application was successful using the old IELTS used for entry clearance english requirement category.
The test centre is in the list of new SELT centres but the report was old.

Calculating 5 yrs period.

Hi,
First tier 2 visa in Dec 2009. Worked here till may 2012 and left for homeland although it was valid till Dec 2012.
Came back in April 2013 on new tier 2 visa. So when applying for ILR the period lived in UK would be from April 2013 to date?
Can someone please verify this.

According to this a C1 level is higher than B1. So it should be no problem..

I wanted to know if the main applicant(the husband) used old IELTS report to get his ILR.(they do not ask for ielts for PBS dependant for tier 2 dependant visa) The second question was if he had to pay the whole fees twice. I have 2 questions.
Did you get your ILR using old ielts report?
Did you have to pay the whole processing fee for your wife twice or they only asked for the English test report?

This is there in the guidance form. If your qualification has run out Some recognised test qualifications only last for 2 years.
