Has anyone applied for ILR (Tier 2, General) while being on Furlough?

I am curious to hear more such as, what was involved, what was different than usual, what kind of documentation had to be given and what is the current Home Office guidelines for applicants of this matter. I know some people on Furlough get full salaries, so I'll be interested to hear from them too.

Life in the UK test needs a continuous reading and practicing. I took my life in the UK test today (8th June) at Croydon test centre.
I did it in only 5 minutes. It was a pass. I can still remember my 1st to 7th question, was so easy.
What were the questions?

Re: Tier 2 Furloghed Workers (COVID-19)

If they said it as 100%, that should be kind of sufficent evidence, but an email response will help more. And "tier2genmisery" is not a moderator, or a lawyer, just a member who is overthinking and speculating. You need to consult a professional lawyer to assess your situation.

Re: SMS Update for Tier 2 on Furlough

That makes a lot of sense. So SMS updation only to happen if salary drops as a result of furlough.

Good to know Immigration history not impacted anyhow due to CJRS.

Re: SMS Update for Tier 2 on Furlough

Dear all,

Now that we know that Tier 2 employees can be furloughed, the question arises:

1. Does the employer SMS have to be updated only when the salary changes?

Any reference or guideline from HO that you know of, please link it for my knowledge.

Re: Life in the Uk Test 2020

Dear all, I just booked my Life in the Uk test in London in August 2020 as the centers had backlogs. My questions are: 1. Is the Life in the Uk test result really told verbally, like in front of everyone, not privately? 2. Is it sensible to book two tests with a 7 day gap in case the first one goes ...

Re: Tier 2 Furloghed Workers (COVID-19)

I believe that T2 workers do not get the worst treatment, if they follow rules. This one in specific should not cause a problem either as the HO is unlikely to release a rule to affect genuine workers. UK needs skilled workers and HO is sensible enough to not lose them, given Brexit lost many talent...

I think you’re really over complicating stuff.

Let’s leave it to HO. I will call them again.

Re: Tier 2 Furloghed Workers (COVID-19)

I called the CIH and they said Furloughing has no impact on ILR applications. I might have to be more specific next time I call them to mention the following points such as a) minimum salary requirement for ILR and b) the apportionment of your salary between the Government furlough scheme and your e...

I have enquired via their helpline phone number and they said furloughing should not affect ILR application. I might have to be more specific ?
