Yes of course.

Sorry to disturb you but how to start counting the qualifying period is also something like the validity of English language test, in some occasion the caseworkers will confuse.

Re: Qualifying Period for Tier 2 Dependant

not surprising if contradicting...... but the caseworker should count the days in favor of the applicant. thus should be counted from your visa valid day. however in.the form you also.asked.when and how you first arrive the uk. if the cadeworker is not experienced and counts using your first entry d...

So you have a lot to do if you want to get your ILR. Fix the relationship with your wife, move back and live with her, of course, put your name back to the council tax bill. Good luck~

Re: Apply for ILR without spouse

As mentioned cohabitation is mandatory for ILR on spouse route. No one forces you having a job 4hours away from home. And the caseworker won't have any sympathy about your relationship with wife and your 4 hours door to door . If you don't fix this, that's it. Thanks for the reply. I have been worki...

then better in your employer letter, clearly mention and explain what you said, as like me I interpreted it in different way - you gurantee to earn your bonus of 1500 if you performed. this is NOT up to how you interpret, but your contract, employer, and caseworker how to interpret. one of the most painful case I ever heard here... if your tier 2 is going to expire soon, AR can buy you time for 3C leave thus you won't be an overstayer. The HO has fault as they didn't update their form but they will defense thenselves that this is also applicant's responsibility to check clearly...

Re: Divorce after ilr

yes you can. you are not the dependent of your partner once you have ilr. it won't affect your BC application as well, no law forbidden you to divorce and marry with the other again. but In your BC application, they ask your marriage status. So you may not be allowed to apply BC right immediate you ...
