Timeframe for UK Entry after HSMP

Hi
I got my Tier 1 visa in Feb 2009 and its validity started from March 15 2009. Is there a rule that I need to enter UK within 6 months of the start date of the visa?
It was there during the days of HSMP, can anyone confirm if it still holds true for Tier 1?

Thanks and regards
Vikas

Not sure, because earlier during the days of HSMP, it was advised to send all marksheets. So just want to be sure.

Thanks

Marksheets of previous semesters

Hi
Can anyone advise me as to whether I need to submit all my marksheets starting from Std 10 for a Tier 1 Application or is the Degree Certificate and Final Semester marksheet enough? I have done my Bachelors and am claiming points for it.

Thanks in advance

Re:

Right - its the date of the application. So do I not need to mention anything in the Covering Letter about the maintenance funds? As in, the amount in GBP that I have been maintaining over the last 3 months?

And regarding Q2 - are 5 days old bank statements allowed?

Thanks
Cheers

Maintenance Funds Requirement

Hi I had 2 queries regarding the maintenance funds requirement 1. What is the GBP rate that is used to calculate the Maintenance Funds? 2. The Tier 1 Guidance mentions that bank statements of upto 7 days earlier than the date of application are allowed. But I read on one of the forums that the state...

Actually my bank is not ready to give that supporting document. They say that for the purpose of immigration, the bank statement is enough. I tried to convince them, but they would not budge.

Thanks anyway

Query about Dependent

Hi First of all apologies for re-posting this. I will be applying for my Tier 1 in a few days. However, my wife would apply as a dependent only once my application is accepted. That would be about 2 months down the line. In such a case: 1. Do I need to show 2800 Pounds or 2800 + 1600 = 4400 Pounds i...

Hi Vinny
Thanks for the prompt reply.
But I was not able to find the answer to my specific question. The page just outlines the general age requirements stating that 27 or Under => 20 points. It does not tell me what points I score if I am over 27 but under 28.
Thanks again
