Re: ECM Finally agree to review our case

Don't give up Ballmigirl, I know what you're going through and how stressful and depressing it can get. But in the end, it's worth it... After more than 2 years myself, we finally got our Visa. Although it's not the Visa we were expecting... We had originally applied for a Fiance Visa but we won our...

Wrong visa received?

Hello guys, So, finally after 2 1/2 years, I have finally received my visa :D Only one thing weird about it. Originally, I had applied for a Fiance Visa. I received my passport with the Visa today and, looking at it and reading the letter that came with it, I'm thinking I was emitted with an Unmarri...

Re: Fiance Visa - Sending Supplementary Documents to Sheffield

You need to submit the financial information for the 6 months preceding the application. Payslips and bank statements, all originals. If you could find something to show that you were with your fiance from Sept 17 to Feb 2018 ( I, myself, included my credit card statements to show I was actually in ...

Re: I really need some advice on which visa to apply for

I would suggest getting married as well. It's much more expensive to go for the fiance visa and it's not easier than applying for a Spouse visa. As Londoner007 said, you'll have your marriage certificate. Just make sure you include all documents relevant to the requirements and more. Chat logs, pict...

Re: ECM Finally agree to review our case

I think that, after I get my visa, I will seriously look into a Group Litigation... They can't just behave that way and treat people like garbage and get away with it. It's not right and they should learn their lesson!

Passport help

Hello, I submitted my passport a few weeks ago to VFS Ottawa after my successful appeal. Does anyone know where it would have been sent from there? Would it be the British High Commission or would it be kept at VFS until the visa was ready to be stamped in it? Any help would be appreciated as I'm lo...

IHS payment

Hello guys, Someone told me I didn't have to pay IHS fees with a fiance visa. I had applied for a fiance visa in 2016. It was refused, we appealed and won this past January. I received an email 2 weeks ago from Sheffield saying they were ready to issue me with UK visa but that I had to pay IHS fee f...

Re: Home office presenting officer , no bundle no appearance

Hello Smass, We had an Appeal back in January 2018. Before our hearing, we did submit 2 bundles, one for the Tribunal and one for HO. We never got anything from HO ourselves. For us, we were dealing with Glasgow as they arrange all hearing for Northern Ireland, so we called them first to ask about H...

Re: relationship evidence nearly there please help

I would suggest photographs of you two, emails, chats or Skype logs. Any wedding plans? Or are you already married? Include any wedding arrangements or marriage certificate. Airline tickets of the times either of you visited the other. If there have been payments made to the bank account to show tha...

Re: Spouse Visa Rejected, Stupid reason, Appeal vs Reapply?

I think we should all consider filing a Group Litigation against the HO. They certainly caused emotional distress, financial loss and a lot more to thousands of people. They should pay for their lack of empathy and humanity

Re: ECM Finally agree to review our case

Yes Ballmigirl, we have spoken before :) We had developments on our end. After threatening to make formal complaint to HO and Ombudsman, I finally received my call letter to pay IHS and hand in my passport. I received it on the last day of the 8th week they had has a timeframe. I don't know if that ...

Re: ECM Finally agree to review our case

Hello Ballmigirl, I also had problems getting answers from HO and, at one point, contacted my solicitor for advice. This is what she told me: "It may also be worth attempting to call in person at the office dealing with the matter. Some will only allow entry if you have an appointment but I kno...

Re: Spouse visa refused: should we appeal or start again?

Hello, I can share my experience with you. Maybe it will help. I applied for a Fiance visa in January 2016. It was refused for lack of information. Let's just say we weren't aware/prepared for the amount of information we needed to provide. It was our fault. But we did file an Appeal. We finally got...

Passport submitted after successful Fiance visa appeal

Hello everyone, I am new here and I'm looking for information about my Fiance visa. I have won my appeal in January 2018 and the determination was dated January 30th, 2018. I finally received an email from Home Office on 29-03-2018 to say "we are ready to issue your visa. You need to pay IHS fe...
