Gibraltar immigration

Gibraltar has an immigration website... forgot what it is, but it was easy to find through the search engine... They basically want you to buy a property over there, and the more expansive it is, the more chances for approval you have. Or as everywhere else you can find yourself a job there.

Schengen visa financial requirements

Hello everybody. I'm going to apply for Schengen from Ecuador. They impose some financial requirements, the one that interests me is the amount of money on the account. How much is it on your opinion? Would US$5000 be enough? And which Schengen area country has been known as the ´´easiest´´(in a...

Application Fee for skilled independent

Wow!!! Did I get it right from the Australian immigration site? Over $4000 AU to lodge an application? That´s serious... Plus the tickets, rent and the general expenses for the first time... Not exactly for the poor. What do u think?

US Criminal Record

I was deported with provisional passport, which was taken away from me upon entry in Ecuador. Interpol? I doubt it, but I can check it myself, can´t I? My general idea about fingerprinting, even if arrested, is that, for exmaple, US authorities would see any arrests or convictions in Europe or ... ...

US Criminal record visibility

Thank you for responding. Well, yes, it´s a shame being deported after 30 years, but mostly shame to me, as I never became a citizen. Anyway, somehow means that I´ll be looking for possibilities, from marriage to work or skilled immigration. I have a bachelor degree in computer business management...

Isle of Man

Hey, people! Have a question. Does Isle of Man have its own immigration laws, or the UK laws apply? If yes, are they easier, harder? I understand it´s not a separate country... What is it then?
Thanks a lot.

Re Marco´s reply. What you called lie is only a lie considering our discussion. It can as well be... a change of mind. All considering that she has a guest visa already. If she has to apply, than it makes sence to apply for residency at consulate - should not take longer than 6-8 months. If everyth...

Altern. US immigration

It´s difficult to find some employer that would sponsor your work visa, although depending on your field of expertise... Imagine, you are at the interview, everything goes nice, than, at the end, you tell them that they need to sponsor you... Like I said, depends on many factors, personal too, so g...

Applying for residnecy from US

I have friends done that recently. It is the best thing to do - apply for residency from US, at least you`ll be living there together. There are a bunch of forms to fill out, med. exam, than in about 3-4 months they gonna send you a work permit, or depending on place - you`ll have to go and get it t...

US criminal record

I know, I posted the same for Europe, see what people say about Australia. I was convicted for minor offense and deported from the US - all under slightly different name. If I apply for Australian residency, and the Australians fingerprint me, will my conviction and deportation come up? Or Australia...

Hey People! Have a question. I´m an Euadorian and planning to move to Europe ... somehow. The thing is that I have a conviction in US, although under slightly different name, and also was deported from US, after living there for 30 years. You think that would be visible in my future possible immira...
