Re: August 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

Thanks for the update.

Now I applied via NCS on 20-Aug and the package was delivered the next day. But I haven't had my credit card charged.
I see two people already been charged and have applied after me. Should I be worried?

I am going to try to call the UKBA helpline tomorrow. I am also trying to contact some solicitors to see if they can help. I will keep you guys posted.

All the best Wildjoecrazy. I think this requirement is bizarre to say the least. So a personal letter is the best that can be done.

Wow! speechless :) thanks apahuja for the update, so just to be clear what you just said. We need to provide letter from all (past + present) employers detailing all the leaves (paid + unpaid), including annual leaves for the last 5 years. And also list down the business trips we had been to for the...

I have got the same problem, and I planning for my ILR around July 2013. Now about the problem in hand, I don't think present and previous employers would be ...

Thanks Gagan, for the quick reply.
So glad I can apply at most 28 days before 26/07/2013.

So just to be clear for ILR, if you are on HSMP and Tier 1, you DONT need to have 5 years of continuous employment.
Is that a requirement only for Tier 2 then?

Thanks.

Query about ILR and continuous employment period

Hello forum members I have got a question about when to go my ILR extension. I am not quite sure what to consider as continuous 5year period completion. Here are my timelines: 1) HSMP done: 15/02/2008 2) Entered UK: 26/07/2008 and left UK after 1 week (came in for interview) 3) Back to UK: 14/09/200...

Thanks for the prompt reply. I am sorry I should have been explained my case a bit more. Now I applied for an HSMP Aug 2007 and then came to London in Sep 2008. Later on, I got a Tier One extension till Feb 2013. Now in order to meet the five year requirement for ILR I need to have another extension...

Interesting question/debate...with due respect to all who have commented... I would like to say that the rule does not quite clearly say how early is an early extension...hence it is open for different interpretation/misinterpretation... IMHO we should be able to apply for an early extension as soon...

Thanks guys for raising the same issue. My situation is very similar to Kavita. I applied for Tier 1 extension in Feb 2010, but I still need six months more to complete the ILR 5 year thingy. As I understand the new rules shouldn't affect us lot, and as push mentioned we should be able to apply for ...
