it is 28 days before entry clearance and not visa stamp.. no scrutiny... it seemed she was looking at the individual slot days of absent.. since all were vacations so maximum slot was 4 weeks and then 2 week 3 week slot.... i had vacations written next to them with few detaiils.. the only thing she asked was all these ar from last 5 years.... i gave -tenency agreemnts covering full 2 years - 3 council tax bills which u can get from council any time. i saw a post here where the home office advised the person that the dependant visa is invalid and he had to apply for FLR(M) within 28 days of the ILR.. and there was no such rule written any where..... but uve posted valid links... u probably knw more than me as per the rules they r right as yr wiv...

no she just asked for cohab docs and said 'u know like bills council tax any thing'.... then i submitted the council tax and the tenency agreements.. i had gp lettters and bills as well.. but i waited for her to say do u have more.. but she didnt ask for more so i didnt give them.... hello again adn...

firstly u shudnt have got ILR as it makes yr wifes visa invalid... u cud have delayes yr ILR to a mamimum so that its like 1 month left in 2 years and shud have applied at the same time.... case wrk4er might hv applied dscretion... my wife was 10 days short of 2 years .... as per the rules they r ri...

Thanks to this forum. The journey came to an end yesterday and this forum helped a lot. If you follow my case.. its shud be 250 for u as well. as u said u have an hsmp leter.. but best is.. take cash n inquire at the office how much wud they tke.. when i calld the call center one told me its 650£ one 250£ and one please confirm from embassy... so i simply gave teh maximum amount cash...

I have the same situation, my wife submited her application in Lahore and the person there confirmed from British embassy and asked her to pay Rs 35000. So don't worry it is 250 GBP. Thanks for yr reply.. one of my friends having teh same case has paid 90,000 that time... and now hes confused wheth...

so even though ive extended my initial hsmp visa to tier-1 now using transitional arrnangements.. my dependant will still using the tier-1( hsmp transition) fees...

ive mailed this question to the uk abu dhabi embassy as well...
