when did you receive the not straight forward email?
That was received on 08/06/18 so a couple of days before the 12 week mark which was in 12/06/18. So it's definitely because of a back log as there is nothing related to my case which requires it to be labelled as complex really.

Re: Spouse Visa Escalation

You are so right timeline threads have slowed down dramatically. Regarding escalation my opinion is it does nothing and wastes callers money. I’d say if you haven’t received a not straight forward email then just wait. Have you taken off the bank holidays in your 60 working days frame since biometr...

Spouse Visa Escalation

Judging by the lack of posts in the Pakistan visa timeline thread it’s safe to say that there are considerably delays right now in processing times. My 60 working days / 12 weeks for the standard processing time elapsed on 12/06/18. The case has been escalated and i have been informed that they will...

Re: Conflicting email updates

I'm in the same waiting situation. I got an email on 22 March stating that my application had been received and it is now 11 June and I have heard nothing yet. The 12th week is next week, just like yours. Hope that all goes well for you- there should be an email that comes when they send the applic...

Re: Conflicting email updates

That seems very strange to receieve that email and a decision on the same day. Im hoping its just sent out in error.

Anyone else have any not straight forward experiences?

Conflicting email updates

I have received two very conflicting emails which is stressing me out ! On 06/06/18 as an email update it states "your application is in the final stages of processing and a decision will be made soon". However on 08/06/18 I received the not straight forward email. Biometrics were done 20/...

Re: Call from Home Office (spouse visa application)

Just as a follow up to all your suggestions. I decided to email the home office to inform them that my phone would be out of reach as roaming charges were very expensive when calculated (for pakistan). I also mentioned they are free to contact me on my husbands mobile or ny email both of which were ...

Re: Call from Home Office (spouse visa application)

I work as a teacher at a very large school, thats probably why they havent bothered with calling us. That puts me at ease now as im constantly worrying i will miss the call as i have no access to it when teaching due to child protection issues.

Re: Call from Home Office (spouse visa application)

HO not always call to everyone rather its just random. A lot applicants don't receive call. Preferably you should incur little cost of switching on your roaming when traveled abroad to answer the call. Roaming would be a good idea. Thanks for the suggestion. But i was wondering if anyone has any ex...
