Hello If the employer named on the work permit is the one that has closed down and you are not going to work for them, you should not be applying for entry clearance to work for them. You would need to get a new work permit to apply for entry clearance in this situation, or come to the UK by some ot...

Hello manjith27 If the entry clearance sticker says - Type Work Permit No F100000 Observ. No recourse to public funds – Work (and any changes) must be authorised (maybe also "Register with UK police on arrival") then this sounds right for a work permit. Work permits are not transferable....

Victoria I don't think that the employee has shown herself to be responsible from what has been posted. I agree with you that there are more important things, but I am still shocked because it appears to have been done so blatantly. If the employer had not been apparently so willing to employ the ve...

Did the form have the total salary of £32,000 in the salary box, with no benefits listed in the allowances box? What is the £7,000 allowance for? Any allowances should be listed separately from the salary on the WP1 form. Your employer may hear back soon. A review is free at least. They have to wi...

Hello my salary is only 9000 but I have a 2000 housing allowance It depends exactly what was on the form and what exactly was on the advert. The review is unlikely to be successful on this salary anyway, it may not even be national minimum wage, although you have said that this is an example. What a...

In your cover note, give a uk contact number so they can let you know when your wp is sent t...
