How exactly do you think the definition of a UK recognised bachelor degree in para 6 of the rules helps a person wanting to claim that ACCA fundamental papers are a UK recognised bachelor degree? http://webarchive.nationalarchives.gov.uk/20111208123303/http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/policyandlaw...

Here is an upper tribunal decision that has been reported today: http://www.bailii.org/uk/cases/UKUT/IAC/2012/02083_2012.html I find that there was no material error of law in the determination of the Immigration Judge.  I have considered the terms of the Rules.  It is quite clear that what is requi...

Your details also go through a payment processing centre (basically a bank). Did you enrol your biometrics yet? If so where?

Re: Visa extension on grounds of joining the Army

Hello everyone, I am from a commonwealth Country. I came to the UK with a student visa, during which I decided to join the UK Army. Although I have finished the masters programme for which I came for, I am unable to complete my Army application due to insufficient stay on my visa. I passed pre- ADS...

You have to have been married for three years to retain a right of residence in the UK as far as I am aware.

How did you manage to get divorced in less than a year after marriage? Did you divorce in the UK?

I am pretty sure you need £200k unless you are switching from Tier1 PSW. The other £50k route is where the money has to be provided by a seed fund etc, not a friend. There would also be a restriction on your employment. See paragraph 245DC(iii) http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/policyandlaw/immigrat...

He is not confusing you. You don't need to show any innovative business idea to UKBA but need to do that to the VC firms in order to get funding. They won't simply give you money because this is not like loan. Recommend that you read up on how VC works As I understood, I need to put my money to VC ...

There is a question that asks:

Have you ever been refused a visa for any country, including the UK?

We don't know if the original poster was required to leave the UK and if so when the UKBA made that decision.

I would just like to add that if your employer is not paying the wages that they have told the UKBA that you will receive, the UKBA would be interested in that aspect.
