Hi, My wife is due to extend her spouse visa in October. She has worked for the NHS for the last 3.5 years. I believe it was announced that as a result of Covid-19, all NHS staff members would be exempt from paying the Immigration Healthcare Surcharge. Is this the case / does anyone have any experi...

Instead of being blue and white it was black and white. However , it did come ...

Re: Spouse Visa

My solicitor asked for it. Any particular reason why not? Is it because of different dates as I’ve mentioned above?

Re: Spouse Visa

You are overthinking. These will not matter - it's common for contract etc to be dated and also be signed at different times. I would recommend submitting your P60s to confirm how much you have actually been paid in the yea...

Re: Spouse Visa

I am yet to see a part of the guidance that shows employer how to calculate this. I only see parts where it says what to include in the letter for example start date etc. Can you send me a link to what you’re on about please. Thanks

Re: Spouse Visa

Thanks. I was assuming employer would try to work this out by using contracted hours to see how much the employee would get in a year ? Do you think employer works it out same way as home office by using last 6 months or do I need to tell employer to work it out this way?
