HSMP Extension- Timelines?

How long does it take for a HSMP extension these days?
Anybody who recently got an extension can share the timelines??

Are the WP and HSMP extension applications in the same queue?

Thanks

Switching from Work Permit to HSMP

If somebodys Work Permit expires in Oct. and his employer not ready to renew his work permit; can he apply for HSMP(switch from work permit to HSMP- incountry application) and remain in the country waiting for the decision?

HSMP Extension Question!

:?: Has anybody applied for an HSMP-Extension sooner that the normal time frame allowed, i.e. 2 months before expiry date ?
If so, how sooner was it? and what was the result?

Has anybody had their application returned because they applied much before initial expiry date?
Thanks

Staff list showing my level in the company + Company brochure - is this necessary??? I don't think the above would be necessary if you have a item # 2 & 5. Item no. 9 is not necessary. You can do it on a plain paper. I guess, you could also attach Credit Card statements, utility bills.. if any....

Pixi,
Congratulations !
3 year extension is from your initial visa expiry date or it is from the date you applied for an extension ?
Secondly, what the evidence you provided for being self-employed ?

Cosmopol,
Appreciate you indicating that to me, however, my interest was having views on filing an early extension and getting rid of the one year clause. The soon the extension is approved, the better off you are...do u agree ?

Oh..so do u think it is advisable to apply for an extension sooner ?
I guess HO should not have an objection specially if you meet the requirements..(like being economically active..etc..etc...)
Any views or experiences ???

"If the HSMP renewal is approved early - then there is a possibility that one may not be able to meet the '4 year period' of stay at ILR stage - .. " This would not be a point to worry as long as the Home Office starts the extension from the expiry date of the original visa(first one year...

HSMP Extension !

gopijags/raoms,

So, in that case, is it advisable to file an extension ahead of time ?
Would Home Office allow that ?(normally it is just one month before expiry)
