It came out of the blue - exactly 60 working days - despite the late notification and no documents. Had forgotten what levity was, this is what a good day feels like! Good luck to everyone out there! This is an unfair and pernicious system, even if it works for the lucky ones. I hope it is made more...

Its not uncommon to receive this email even after a decision has already been made, or even on the same day as a decision will be made. Hopefully not a long wait for you. Yes, judging by our experiences, the confirmation email is sent the day they finish scanning and send your documents back (so you will probably receive them back the same or next day). So depending on if you go priority or not, you could be sitting there waiting for two or more weeks from sending y...

Same deal - but more extreme. Got that email on 9 May but applied 15 Feb - so we are in week 11 of the 12 week guideline period! Documents not yet returned ... Anyone beat that?
