Re: Ceremony dates?

There is nothing we can do....the way they are treating people on the basis of a word “privilege” is actually a way for them not be held legally accountable. Otherwise even the most serious criminals going through justice system are given opportunities to defend and to ask questions and re-trials. A...

Re: Stamp 4 renewal

You will get stamp 4 for 3 on the basis your Irish child. You don’t need to do anything. Bring your child’s passport and birth certificate along with your GNIB and passport.

Re: delay in citizenship application - applied in 2016

I hope procedure is that streamlined...on the other hand we have seen people jumping from 2nd and advanced stage and at times between any stages according to responses from the office....nothing is predictable with this office. Also I have a friend and we both came to this country on the same plane,...

Re: delay in citizenship application - applied in 2016

This is getting ridiculous and a mere joke. People have applied for more than 2 years and no response. I applied in November 2016 & received the 2nd stage letter in June 2017 and since then no progress. According to them since July 2017 they have been awaiting external agency information. On the...

No news here. I applied in Nov 16 and got 2nd stage letter in July 17. Since then same email replies. On the phone the response is that they are awaiting information from external agency. Not sure which information they are seeking and how long will it take to complete the whole process.

Totally agreed, similar experience I had today with the woman on phone. Robotic and flat tone, not willing to give information about anything..
They are behaving as if they are the criminal investigating agency and not a civil department..
