Re: Passport application: birth certificate requirement

@ Cullinan I absolutely a 100% agree with you. A cancelled passport is irrelevant to the application of a British passport as the relevant checks have been done for ILR etc. I sincerely hope this is the case and there are no delays in processing my application. But I must admit I a little wary of t...

Re: Passport application: birth certificate requirement

I originally entered the UK with the passport that's now expired. That one has my entry stamp and tier 2 visa. I then transitioned to ILR and have been traveling with my new US passport + BRP. To confirm, should I just submit the current US passport? Is there any harm in submitting both to be safe?...

Hi

Post citizenship ceremony the ILR BRP has to be cut and returned to Home office. Is there any value of photocopying the ILR and getting it certified at the post office ?

Thank you
Do you have any child born in UK while you were on ILR?
Hi Cullinan. No children no. No dependants either.

Re: **** COVID19 Biometrics appointments and UKVCAS ***** (Discuss here ONLY)

I don’t think you can opt out now. However when you get and invite to use the IDV app and submit your photographs etc - it allows you the option to book an appointment or use the app. To be clear - I had not opted out of using the IDV app. I couldn’t book any appointments until I received the invite...

Re: **** COVID19 Biometrics appointments and UKVCAS ***** (Discuss here ONLY)

Hi

I had uploaded all the documents via the website and "submitted" them today -also via the website. I confirmed via the helpline that documents can be uploaded either way - IDV app or website.

I used IDV app only for face and travel document photo.

Hope that helps.

Re: Settlement BRp received but no NIN

When I first arrived I applied for one and got an NIN. I don't remember a card, maybe just a letter. I'm only confused because the NIN is not on my BRP, and I wasn't sure whether it should be :? CR001 is correct. My Tier 2 BRP has a NIN. My ILR BRP via general tier 2 5 year route has no NIN listed....

You can use the old form. HO gives applicants a 21 day grace period to use old forms.
Hi CR001. I’m in a similar position.
Could you please point me to the home office page re the 21 day guidance so I can take it as evidence just Incase they are being difficult at the PSC ?

Re: ILR - Premium service - No slots available for next 45 days! HELP PLEASE!!!!!

I have had this issue as well.

I find checking after mid day and midnight usually has the most slots. I’ve booked a Glasgow slot on the 18 July and I did this on the 6the June.

See if it works.
