There is, of course, no doubt that benefits form part of remuneration. However, it does not follow that all forms of remuneration for salaried employees count as gross earnings - and that's where the argument that employer-paid superannuation may be counted as part of gross earnings, falls down. One...

This doesn't sound quite right. Pension contributions that an employer makes on an employee's behalf, are not considered part of the employee's earnings; they are benefits. I had a previous employer who listed employer contributions to superannuation in the payslip, but the caseworker explicitly did...

Re: Will US visa rejection affect HSMP approval - Please adv

The problem is not so much the US visa refusal itself (which would have to be disclosed, in any case); rather, the problem is that alien smuggling is an aggravated felony in the US that normally results in a mandatory custodial sentence and/or fine, deportation/removal, and a lifetime bar from the c...

The image captures are not meant to serve as bank statements or the like, hence no logo etc. The image captures I received from my bank also showed (separately from the image) the amount, the account from which the funds were to be paid, the (posting) date, and the cheque number. The fact that my ba...

I had the same problem for some consulting work for which I had been paid by paper cheque. To demonstrate that the cheques were deposited into my account, my bank issued their image captures of each of the paper cheques (which were usually dated one day after I had deposited them). So if you deposit...

You might also include your bank statements for July 05 - June 06. The tax forms don't exactly cover your claimed earnings period, so they might not be appropriate as separate pieces of evidence that confirm your earnings.

You'll remember that before HC321, the immigration rules never specified what HSMP migrants needed to have in available funds (for short-term maintenance), and seemed to leave this largely to ECOs' discretion. Likewise, the fact that these further requirements (referring to long-term viability) may ...
