Re: Dependent Visa Extension - IHS Payment

I'm starting to think that we weren't prompted for it because my last grant of leave pre-ILR (skilled worker visa) would have expired within the next two weeks... I'm thinking of just highlighting in the cover letter that we were not prompted to pay the IHS fees for the next years of extension sough...

Dependent Visa Extension - IHS Payment

Hi there, I've recently got ILR (2 days ago) and I am applying for my spouse's visa extension (he won't be eligible for ILR for another few years). This was an in-country application. We've submitted the application online, booked an appointment for biometrics for later this week, but we were not pr...

Re: Change of Circumstances - Address + Marriage (Not dependant)

Thanks, I don't intend on changing my last name until my passport is due for renewal in a few years (seems like a hassle otherwise). Any thoughts on the notification of marriage? Seems to me like I'd only need to notify when he becomes a dependant (in which case they'd be notified when we make the D...

Change of Circumstances - Address + Marriage (Not dependant)

Hi there, I've been on a T2 visa for a year now, and about two months ago, got married in my home country. I'm looking to eventually add my partner as a dependant (he is currently on a T5 visa, although is currently living and working in our home country), in maybe 6 months'/a year's time when he ev...

Re: Priority route for Tier 2 General visa application

I filled in my application last week and had my appointment earlier this week for documents submission. Once you complete your application form, you then pay your IHS fees online. Once you pay the IHS fees, you are redirected back to application form and then you have the option to select which vis...

Re: Questions on Tier 2 Application Forms

Actually, I may be wrong. I could go on forever in the "listed countries + shengen" but it had me stop at 2. However, I think I may have only been to 5 or so "other countries" (that I can recall), so I didn't need to see whether I could add more, sorry!

Tier 2 Visa Application Qs - Former Tier 5YM

Hi there, I finally received my rCoS this month (yay!). I was on a Tier 5 Youth Mobility visa until May, and have questions based on those circumstances - essentially my accommodation in the UK and past NHS visits. Simply wanted to hear from others who may have been in a similar situation and how th...

Re: Do we need salary more than 50k for Senior Software Engineer?

The way to calculate points for the certificate of sponsorship is different than that for the visa, and doesn't include maintenance, english, etc. It only includes: Route by which you are eligible for a certificate of sponsorship (your job is on the shortage occupation list, or your job is skilled t...

Re: Labour market test

Yes RLMT first. When you apply for a sponsor license you need to explain why, and it is easier to do so if you can show you have a vacancy that you are looking to fill with someone who would require sponsordhip (and you can't say that without having performed the RLMT otherwise it looks like you are...

Re: Maintenance for Applying Tier 2 General Visa

The alternative is for your employer to certify your maintenance for your first month in the UK. This means that they are basically supporting you during this time, and so no bank statement is required on your end. My understanding is that your employer would do this by checking a box when applying ...

Re: Family Just landed in London, Have IHS but not yet registered to NHS. need urgent treatment

Have they picked up their biometric residence permits? That's all you need really, although it does make the process easier for the health facility if you've already registered with a GP. They're still entitled to the NHS given they paid the NHS surchage with their visas. I waited a few months to re...

Re: Help Regarding RLMT: Discrepancy in Job Posting

Don't see why this would be an issue. Your salary is within that range. The point of the salary offered being in the RLMT advertised range is so that they don't offer you a salary higher than that range / than was offered to the resident labour market. For example, if they offered you 70k, the argum...

No. The Home Office's Statement of Changes (re: the new immigration rules) state that the new rules are applicable from July 6th and will apply to any decision made on or after this date (ie. The decision that will be made on July 11th for the allocation meeting).

Also 55 non-shortage non-NHS and awaiting update.

It may well be that my employer received it today and is speaking with our lawyer / figuring out our game plan before breaking the news to me. This is our 2nd try (was just under the salary treshold for 55 points last month so we raised it slightly).

Re: June 2018 Restricted COS

Crazy that 55 points might not get through this month (I seem to have lost hope that I will be approved later today) considering it got through last month and with the carry over + being able to borrow 100 certs from July there is an extra 250 certificates available this month. Same! Sending positi...

I'm also in the disappointing position of having 50 points and having just been refused for this month. I have a few questions - 1. Does anyone know what the minimum points were this month? Was it 51 or 56? Seems the 55s in the forum have not received either refusal or approval yet, so we should kn...

Any idea what will be my score if the salary is 55k plus 5k flex benefits with RLMT?
I’m trying to get the number from the HR but the reply doesn’t come so soon.
55 points. Most benefits don't count towards salary calculation for rCoS purposes.
