Re: Sponsor License number not found

Many Thanks Djsuccess for your reply. I can see the employer appearing as "Worker (A (Premium))" with "Skilled Worker" and says "Licensed and Fully Active". The sponsor license number is still different to what I had in my COS in October 2018. Hope this is not an issue?...

Re: Tier2 CoS start date and actual start date

Thanks Djsuccess for your reply. On point2, my main query was - Can I starting working after the CoS start date or I have to start on the Cos start date? I.e if Cos has job start date as 29th October, Can I start work on 15 November. It's unrestricted CoS and I'm in the UK

Re: Notice of Curtailment- with New Certificate of Sponsorship

How does lifting of curtailment work? I too have received a curtailment letter and my new employer is planning to apply in the next few weeks. Do we need to inform back to HO once new visa is applied or will the HO will send me a new letter that the curtailment is no longer valid

Re: Starting work before BRP receipt

Thanks CR001 for the quick reply. The CoS is yet to be assigned as they have just completed the RLMT. My only worry is that if the Cos start date is say 20th October and even if Visa is approved by 15th I may not get my BRP as Ive heard and experienced that it could even take up to 3 weeks for the B...

Re: Starting work before BRP receipt

Thanks cyclina1. The reason I was asking is one of the large organisations have delayed start date of my friend as his BRP was delayed though he had the approval letter. I believe it is employer policy perhaps but not a rule. Is there any policy guidance at all that you are aware of which clarifies ...

Re: Tier2 - 2018 changes regarding time in between employers

Dear CR001 - That's very clear now and thanks for the details I am feeling much much better and clearer now. Apologies but couple of points: 1. As the rule came into effect on 11th Jan 2018, Will Tier2 issued before this date fall under old rules? I believe it is any ILR applications after 11th Jan ...

Re: Tier2 - 2018 changes regarding time in between employers

Dear CR001 - Many thanks for the quick response. Apologies but I am unfamiliar with this so it would be kind if you can please explain the difference between the two. Second, will this imply that even if I apply for Tier2 change of employer after 5 months of finishing job with previous employer this...

Tier2 - 2018 changes regarding time in between employers

Hello, I am in Tier2 (General) 5-year visa since August 2016 and valid until October 2021, and now my employer is terminating my employment with immediate effect. I was earlier aware that there is a 60 day time period in between employers i.e. the time i can take to find a new job. Now in 2018 it se...
