They said it is a recommendation from the EU so I'm not sure how to treat this info
Nothing to do with those requiring Schengen visas though, it is only to do with the travel bans.
Yes but is the travel ban in force and does it apply to the UK?

Re: Travellers from outside EU Coronavirus

Thanks for your contributions. What about the new EU law valid from today which exempts only 15 countries in the world to enter the EU? Does this apply to the UK as well? Useful to post an official link if you make a statement like this. https://www.euronews.com/2020/06/29/revealed-draft-list-of-co...

Anybody got an update recently?
When did you make application?
I made mine in early April.

But the timeline given by the Home Office is quite confusing because I know someone who applied in February 2020 and got his in early May 2020

Travellers from outside EU Coronavirus

Hello. I'd appreciate some help in figuring out if passengers from outside the EU - mainly the USA - are still required to self-isolate for 14 days or are they even allowed to enter the UK? I stumbled on this https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-travellers-exempt-from-uk-b...

Hi,

Is it better to be on ILR or UK citizenship has got any advantages? .Also any cons of getting OCI?

Thanks
I'd choose citizenship over ILR to be free from the Home Office's administrative sluggishness anytime!

Thank you. Only know her for 6 months now.

At the interview, is it best she tells them about me (if it comes up..quite likely?) Or not?

Regards

Harish
It will definitely come up. I do not see why it should be an issue... why do you think she should not talk about it? I'm just wondering

Re: How to help my Nepali asylum seeker girlfriend

I do not think there is much you can do unless you knew her when she was facing domestic violence with her previous partner. If so, you can write a letter to the Home Office to say what you witnessed at that time in order to support her application. At what stage of the asylum process is she at? If ...
