travelling on BRP after ceremony

Hi all,

I attended the citizenship ceremony last Tuesday and will apply for my first British Passport early next week.

I need to travel between (Dec 4-22), likely prior to the arrival of my first British passport - could I still travel on BRP?

Thanks

Hi guys, I am yet to upload my documents prior to UKVCAS appointment next week - unfortunately I cant not find the document checklist. Immigration history: 5 years on Tier 2, ILR granted August 2018. council tax

Hi, I am planning to apply for BC in September after 1 year ILR which was granted on the basis of 5 years of Tier 2. As part of the good charcter requirement there is a section pertaining the payment of council tax. In 2014, I lived in a shared accommodation for roughly 1 year when the landlord did ...

I obtained my ILR in September 2018 ( applied on the basis of 5 years of continuous work on Tier-2 ). Do I have to be continuously employed during the 12 m...

Working with residence permit on another EU country

Hi folks, I have been granted an ILR after 5 years on Tier-2 at the beginning of August 2018. I just received a job offer in Luxembourg and the employer is happy to sort out the visa/residence permit in Luxembourg for myself as I have a non-EU passport. Assuming I do not surpass the 180-day threshol...

Re: Documentation checks

The experience at the premium appointment centre was good. I submitted my documents and was called in for the biometrics within 20minutes. After the biometrics, I waited for another 15-20minutes before my application was confirmed. I believe my application was relatively straightforward: I applied v...

Re: ILR premium appointment Wrong

You can reschedule an appointment without charge 5 days before the appointment. Within 5 days, I believe there is a charge around £100.

Re: "Where did you spend time outside the UK?" visiting 3 counties in one trip how to

I had a few trips as such that I had to enter to my application.

On the actual application form, I put the first destination country. I also provided a separate table where I entered more details including all the countries visited per trip.

Good luck.

Re: Documentation checks

Hi guys, My ILR application was approved - thank you for your guidance! As part of my documentation, my company provided me with an employment proof indicating that they still require me at my role in the foreseeable future. I am, however, planning to resign after receiving my BRP card since I recei...

Re: Documentation checks

Hi all,

I am going to apply for ILR Set (O) next week - premium appointment.

What evidence do you provide for the academic qualification in the UK?
Can you please suggest if I have to provide my original Degree Certificate? Can I get away with Transcripts?

Re: Premium Service appointment booking issue for ILR (LR)

I called yesterday to the helpline because my BRP expires on 07/09/2018 and after two weeks of insomnia trying to get an appointment earlier than the original one (12/09/2018) I didn't have any success. They advised me to cancel the booked appointment and apply using the standard route, once accept...

Re: Documentation checks

Thanks for your message. I should be able to pass the test without any issues. I prefer not to cancel my appointment since there are no other available in the near future. I do not mind getting a response to my ILR application a few days in after the date I apply at the premium center. I am wonderin...

Hi again, I can not see any section on SET(O) (5 years continuous residence on Tier -2) document where I need to input my address history and provide address proof in the form of utility bills or council tax statements. Hey guys, On SET(O) application form section 6.12, UK entry date in relation to this application is queried. 6.12 When did you (the dependant) first enter the UK? Documentation checks

Hi, Do you think it is worth paying to a lawyer to check one's documentation for ILR application before submitting it? The application form does not seem to be complicated, as long as you have the relevant documentation. The fees are not cheap, on the other hand. Did anyone go to a lawyer for help a...
