Re: July 2018 restricted COS

Can someone please suggest if the approvals are notified through email or SMS? Would be grateful. Thanks. Both, I would assume they're pretty simultaneous. If you're 60+ and still waiting it's fine, seems as though case workers get different piles each to sort through. If your application is valid,...

Re: July 2018 restricted COS

Hi,

Congrats to all who got their approval!! Just wondering, the ones who got their approval, does the lawyer receive an email from the department or does one have to go and check in the SMS?

I am in the >60K range but still no news!!

Thanks,
Jess

Re: Help Regarding RLMT: Discrepancy in Job Posting

What is the job advert posted on Universal Jobmatch? Thanks for your reply. The Job Posting on Universal Jobmatch states the salary limit as 55000 to 60000 and the one on the monster site states 55000 to 65000. I am being offered 56000. As long as one of the adverts is advertised the same salary ra...

Re: Tier 2 CoS salary lower than on RLMT

Hi Jess, I had same situation like you last year. My employer posted RLMT with higher salary than the actual CoS. I got my CoS rejected because of it. Unfortunately, We had to re run RLMT to match the salary range (i.e. if your salary is 32k, then it will be okay if the RLMT salary range is 31.9k -...

Re: Help Regarding RLMT: Discrepancy in Job Posting

Your challenge may be to prove that your current employer hasn't pre-selected you for the role in favour of other applicants who are British or settled and suitable for the position. Thanks Casa. Yes I hope that should not be the issue since I applied for the job through the postings. Apprec...

Re: Help Regarding RLMT: Discrepancy in Job Posting

Don't see why this would be an issue. Your salary is within that range. The point of the salary offered being in the RLMT advertised range is so that they don't offer you a salary higher than that range / than was offered to the resident labour market. For example, if they offered you 70k, the argu...

Help Regarding RLMT: Discrepancy in Job Posting

Hi Folks, My employer just offered me a job and will be applying for CoS over the next couple of days. I was told that there is a slight discrepancy in the 2 job postings that were online. One job posting (FindaJob) states the salary as 55000 to 60000 while other job posting (monster) states the sal...
