Same advice.
Thank you, have you seen any cases where discretion has been applied for ILR with over 180 days absence or is it very uncommon?

Is this reason I mentioned here valid?

Skilled Worker Dependent - ILR eligibility after 195 days absence

Hi, I applied for ILR on September 2021 after being on the Tier 2/Skilled Worker 5 year route and obtained British Citizenship on December 2022. My wife obtained her Skilled Worker Dependent visa on December 15, 2020 and entered the UK on February 28, 2021. Since October 7, 2023 until today she has ...

Re: Skilled Worker Dependant Extension (Main Applicant on ILR) Questions?

1. If the link you have posted is from the skilled worker UKVI page, then yes it is correct. It wouldn't say 'extension'. 2. You can/could have applied anytime before her visa expiry date and MUST apply on or before 30th August. 3. Supporting documents must be submitted before the biometric appoint...

Re: Validity period of PBS extension visa

3 years from decision date. Thanks Vinny. So let's say her extension is now valid from the decision date of 25/11/2022 until 25/11/2025. The 3 month period from her previous visa expiry date of 30/08/2022 until 25/11/2022 is not covered anywhere. Is that fine? It's not considered breaking continuou...

Re: Who pays for Tier 2 Dependent visa?

is this common or does the employer usually also cover the fees for your dependent's visas? Yes it is common. Your employer is only YOUR sponsor, not your dependents sponsor. Yes I'm aware of that, but I've heard that some employers also sponsor your dependants as part of your job offer soI was won...

Who pays for Tier 2 Dependent visa?

Hi all, I'm currently on a Tier 2 visa and my wife is on a Tier 2 dependent visa. We need to renew our visas by September this year. The employer has agreed to pay for my extension visa fees but not for my wife's dependent visa fees. I was wondering from people's experiences - is this common or does...

She entered the first time on 26/08/2018 and the second time on 12/09/2018. She collected her BRP today on 13/09/2018. On the sec...

Should be fine but make sure you return to the UK before the 30 days visa expires.
Yes we're planning to return to the UK 2 weeks before the 30 days visa expires so I hope we don't have any issues. Thanks again!

Re: 30 Day Vignette Multiple Entry

Presumably if it says multiple entry then there is no issue in traveling. Suggest once in the UK, see if BRP card is ready for collection, they often are. Thanks CR001. We will need to travel 2 days after landing in the UK so we will need to check the post office 1 day after we first land. In the c...

Thank you very much, this is very helpful. Is it necessary to show a airline ticket (dummy ticket generated by Travel agents) with the visa application? No my wife didn't provide any ticket. In fact, the UKVI advise that we shouldn't make travel arrangements before getting the visa. So it's not nec...
