Re: Proof of residence when unemployed

Hello During this time (roughly 18 months between early 2017 to mid-2018) can you produce any solid proof address such as council tax, utility bill (gas, electricity, water), any letter from DVLA, NHS, HMRC? Emails you sent or received won't work as they can be sent from anywhere in the world. You d...

Re: Schengen Visa / Financial Requirement

Hello 1 - Yes, you can apply apply for country X. Then when you get your visa go to country X then to any other Schengen country. However, travel always first to the country that granted you the visa. However, Spain is painful for the visa, but it can be painful at the border too. So even with a Sch...

No, don't correct anything. The EUSS was given to you because of your EU nationality and nothing else.

Hello

Don't call them. They don't do talking.

Just leave it and they will get back to you with a decision in a few months. There is no way to track the progress or anything else.

Re: ESTA REFUSE

You just did two mistakes with the wrong people. The last thing you want to do in life is to misrepresent things with US Immigration officials. Many people ended up banned for life from the US. Entry to the US is not a right but a privilege. Once they see a pattern they don't like, they refuse you. ...

Re: my friend on PR stayed 105 days outside in last 1 year

Hello The rules are: - Max 90 days absence during the last 12 months - Automatic discretion for up to 100 days Over 100 days, discretion exists but it's not automatic. He needs to demonstrate strong ties to the UK like having family, work or business... etc. If he is on his own in the UK and doesn't...

No it's not safe to travel with it as when she comes back, she may face the same issue again.

Wait for the Home Office to respond or report it again. They are slow in everything these days.

Re: T.B Test Required for returning citizens?

Hello

You don't need a TB certificate. You are exempt from immigration control. You are not applying for anything yourself.

However, they are now requiring PCR tests for everyone.

Hello

Keep reloading the page. Check many times a day. Check in various centres even if not close to you. As soon as you see a date available, book it regardless if convenient or not.

Re: Urgent ( brp expiring on 31st march 2021)

Hello You can travel while a citizenship application is in progress. That's not an issue. However, your BRP is expiring end-March is risky in the current climate. You may not be able to return on time as planed. Flights are scheduled then cancelled very often. Entry restrictions keep changing... I h...

Re: Resume British citizenship

The bad news is that renouncing British citizenship in order to use EEA route for a partner is not one of these reasons that allow quasi-automatic registrati...

Re: ESTA REFUSE

Hello You are not eligible to ESTA if you have been refusal a visa before. If you are in a path of immigration in the UK and that leads to citizenship, I don't recommend applying for a US visa. Travel there only when you get the British citizenship. Otherwise, a refusal will stick to your records re...

Re: How to work a maximum of 20 hours with two contracts as a Tier 4 Student

Hello The only way to not to exceed 20 hours a week is to work less than 20 hours a week. If you have 2 jobs, one requiring you to do 20 hours and another 4, you are at 24 hours and therefore in breach. Either you don't do the 4-hour job or ask your first job to reduce your contractual hours to 16 s...

Re: EUSS route now also for durable partners ?

Unfortunately, what I can tell is that such applications are doomed for failure. Even within EU countries, they fail. If a Polish living in Poland asks Spain or Portugal for a family permit for a non-EU unmarried partner, such application would eventually hit the wall. You don't live in the UK. You ...

Hello She can't hold multiple names. So if she goes with the deed poll and changes her name, it means she must change it in the passport too. If her other country doesn't accept the British deed poll, she can find herself in a painful situation. Usually if you are a dual citizenship, it's not recomm...
