Just for my own knowledge, does the same rule applies for an Asylum Seeker as well while travelling to their default country ?
Sorry I’m confused, what do you mean?
My understanding is when a person seeks Asylum (asylum seeking) and their claim is accepted they are given refugee status.

Ex refugees first adult passport

Does anyone have an experience of applying for a first British adult passport if you don’t have a foreign passport?
The passport guide does state to include the passport you used to enter the country but I did not enter the country with my own passport. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Re: British Citizenship - refugee but some period of overstay

I was in a similar boat as you with worries although my case is slightly different. I entered illegally but I made myself known within 24hrs.
My citizenship application took under a month to get approved. Make sure you include all the evidence from the last 5 years. Good luck.

I’ve just returned from an Ncs appointment and I was told I didn’t have enough evidence to show 5 years worth of lawful evidence. The lady said I have to provide month by month documentation for the last 5 years. My travel document only goes back to 2017. Can I use the letter from home office for my...
