Study limit and architecture course

I have a quick question that needs clarification. I am currently on a BA architecture course and am looking to do a MA degree after. I have stayed past the study limit of 5 years, but architecture courses are exempt from this rule. I am wondering if this applies to ALL architecture courses for MA or...

Re: Break in continuous residence

Thank you for your help. One last quick question. When I apply from outside UK from October, provided they give me a visa from December (1 month before course start date). The period of October -November gap between visas would not count towards the 10 years period. Am I correct?

Re: Break in continuous residence

I've had a look over the guidance, and would I have to apply for the new visa before my last visa ends? My current visa is valid until the 8th of October 2018. My new course will start Jan 7th 2019. I can't make an application until the exact date my previous visa ends (3 months before course date s...

Re: Break in continuous residence

Thank you for your reply, but I'm afraid this is causing more confusion... Does this mean I have to leave and apply from home country? And if that's so, would that break my continuous residency? I am basically trying to get a visa to finish my course without having to break my residency...

Re: Break in continuous residence

Does this mean that it won't break? Its very confusing as I have found mixed things about this. If my course starts on the 4th of January, would I be able to put an application within country on the 4th of October -technically 3 months from the start date, and stay in the country until the decision ...

Break in continuous residence

I am currently on a tier 4 visa which will end on 8th of October 2018. I want to apply to extend my visa to finish the course, however the term that I am retaking starts in January 4th 2019. This might mean that I will have to apply from home country. Would this break the continuous residency terms ...
