Standard Visitor Visa - couldn't be used due to Covid restrictions

Hi, A relative of ours have had his standard visitor visa issued late Feb 2020 for 6 months, which obviously couldn't be used due to the start of the pandemic. Is there a Home Office process or guidance for any refunds in this case? Similarly, other relatives have had a 5 year standard visitor visa ...

Re: ILR application questions

Yes, that's what confused me, as I read everywhere that there's no requirement to provide evidence of absences. I will see how the application progresses further, as there is a finance section, but nothing regarding employment, which is promising. Some screenshots from the ILR form (blurred personal...

Re: ILR application questions

Many thanks for the prompt reply. There was a question at the beginning to choose the category, and I've chosen the PBS dependent option, as the Tier 2 (General) option didn't make sense. The form then immediately asks for the partner details, and then her personal details, so it looked OK - I will ...

Re: ILR application questions

HI all, I am helping to fill in the online application form for my wife, Tier 2 dependent applying for ILR, after 5 years. The online application form requires the following question to be answered, it can't be left blank, and I can't find anyone else discussing this. " What evidence will you p...

Re: ILR application questions

OK, I have completed the process now, and got the ILR approved yesterday (29th Nov). I was using the old process, and was probably one of the last people to use it. It was a tense waiting time of 4h between biometrics submission and the decision being reached at Croydon PSC. I have used the paper fo...

Sorry, I am seeing this only now.... I guess you have completed your process already. I went with the paper form, no problems, got the ILR approved.

Re: New VCAS system, Super confusing

Hi pm107,

What a coincidence, I also have an appointment on 29th Nov (Croydon) :D

A few other people in various topics have mentioned that they've called HO and confirmed that the form Set(O) 07-2018 can be used until 29th Nov - as the new system doesn't allow paper form applications.

Re: Urgent help needed Regarding ILR LR premium appointment on 8 November

Oh come on, this is now becoming silly. I have booked the PCS appointment for 29th Nov (booked on 17th Oct). Can I use the SET(O) form that I have downloaded (version 07-2018), or do I need to apply online? If the latter, how do I start a new application without paying, as I have paid already?

Re: ILR - Premium service - No slots available for next 45 days! HELP PLEASE!!!!!

Hi Skido75, The process has changed, and all slots are booked until 29/11/2018, which is the last day PCSs will be working in their old format. No new appointments will be released. New process/system is at the link below. You will have to either wait for the new process (starting this Friday, 2nd N...

Re: ILR application questions

Thanks a lot for the replies and explanation. And it's clear now that my wife should be using SET(O) application. I went through the current application form in great detail, and almost everything is clear for both me and her. There are only a few small doubts: 6.1 When did you (the main applicant) ...

I am not sure what you are made of exactly, but replying to all the questions here requires some serious inner peace and calmness :D What I am looking for is a Yes, Yes, Yes answers for the family of 3 for now. Re: In-country Tier 2 application timelines

Main applicant and 2 dependents, extending Tier 2 General visa (it took almost 2 months). Home office sent a letter around 20-06-2018 as additional funds were needed (COS stated that the job role is on shortage occupation list, Home office claims the description changed, and even though the code is ...
