Probably they are not sending any letters as the last batch was sent 25.3, so giving people 10 days to send banker's draft and pics. God works in mysterious ways :D :) :shock: :lol:

Just found this on INIS website : Citizenship phone lines will be closed on the following Tuesdays and Thursdays: April 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25. A Commissioner for Oaths is a person who is authorised to verify affidavits, statutory declarations and other legal documents. Affidavits are statements in writing and on oath, and statutory declarations are written statements of facts that the person signs and declares to be true. :D

Not to be confused lawyer is not signing W2 only commissioner for oaths - where he or she puts their registration number. :) so should all be fine for you.

w2 -- is for lawyer or justice of peace to sign and witness your declaration - you are not filling here nothing. Also you need to send original passport, social card, no need for self address envelope, also birth certificate true copy or original. I sent original and they return it later on. :lol: :D

They are still sending approval letters this week, so hopefully they are not full at the moment :D, in any case I booked myself hotel for 28/29 Apr :D except the train from DUB.

Yes, it was dated 25th Mar. I managed to get them on the phone and funny lady said, now you can stop calling us we sent you nice brown envelope yst. :)

In continental Europe we use roman law and under roman law until officially you change domicile address you are still permanent resident with address in origin country ie. Germany. *Irish knows that* as they use common law which doesnt even recognize difference between permanent and temporary reside...

No its from Germany, but as my sister is lawyer she told me that :D within EU they have to accept documents up to six moths old, yours is 5 years old.

I think you need to have a new one, when I applied as EU citizen I gave them 4 months old certificate issued from Ministry of Justice and everything was fine. :P
