Re: Evidence of settled status in UK

Just wanted to say a big thanks to all the mods, you're doing a great job. We submitted the ILR docs at Croydon on Sat and have just received the email notification of application success. Will await for official confirmation letter and BRP before applying for Citizenship immediately (spouse of Brit...

Evidence of settled status in UK

I have my wife's ILR application on Sat morning at UKVCAS London and just going through the application one last time. Stuck on one issue - the checklist asks for "Evidence of Mr xx's settled status in UK". I am a British citizen since birth and have uploaded my passport as part of the Man...

SET(M) paying for additional services

Completed draft of SET(M) form and will submit online application in the next few days. I have a couple of questions: 1) I intend to use Super Premium Service - in terms of quick responses, does it matter which location you choose? I'm based in Maidenhead and Reading service point is nearest but its...

Re: ILR SET(M) document

Couple of queries: How do I evidence the following (I'm relying solely on Cash Savings) when asked: 'A declaration by joint of the source(s) of the cash savings' As we have 3 accounts where the combined cash meets the required level, do we need to sign one declaration for each account or can we have...

Re: ILR SET(M) document

Would like advice on the above, where the savings are with an online-only institution.

Is it ok to print off the online statement or do I need to do anything else?

Thanks again

Online ISA documentation

I have an online Cash ISA and wish to use the balance to show I meet the Cash Savings route for ILR. As its an online-only account and I don't get paper documentation, how do I evidence the balance which has remained above the ILR Cash Savings limit of £34,600 for the past year? Can I print off the ...

Re: ILR SET(M) document

So looks like I should wait for all docs to arrive before submitting the online application. Correct And if I book my Surinder Singh route appointment a week or so later, gives me time to scan and upload docs prior to appointment. Surinder Singh route??? This is not relevant to ILR on SET(M). FYI, ...

ILR SET(M) document

My wife's second FLR ends on 26th Aug, so going by the 28-day interval, we can apply online now. From what I have read, I should apply online on SET(M) form as I am a British citizen since birth. What I've not been able to establish is the document dates. Does all documentation dates have to be prio...

Re: Best chance of long term Schengen visa

In the coming weeks, we'll look to book again for another Europe trip and this time I'll book multiple trips to ensure we get a single visa covering at least that period. We're now looking at end-Sept to France (4 days) and a 5 day trip to our favourite Switzerland in Feb. In this example, do we nee...

Cancelled trip - do I need to inform anyone

We just got our Norway Schengen visa but due to unforseen family event, we've had to cancel the trip.

Do I need to inform anyone that the trip is cancelled and we won't be visiting that country?

thanks

Best chance of long term Schengen visa

We applied for Schengen visa for EU spouse for Norway and we were granted a 19 day single entry visa! We're off to Norway for 5 days and we included a covering letter asking for a 1 year multi-entry visa. The response included a letter stating that since we did not include proof of future visits, th...

Motoring offence impact on ILR

Does motoring offences impact ILR? My wife recently a notice stating that she was speeding. She could be hit with 3 points on her license and £100 fine - if this is the case, does this impact her future ILR application? There is a chance that she could get a speed awareness course, in which there is...

Re: Given one Year Schengen Visa

That's great! How many days can you travel within that 1 year period? We applied 2 years ago and the Swiss Embassy granted my wife a 3-month multi-entry visa for 20 days usage within that period. We've just applied to Norway for travel later this month, will report back on the visa length. Fingers c...

Re: Travelling to Europe with less than 3 months expiry on BRP

I was under the impression the embassies would not issue a Schengen with an expiry less than 3 months to BRP expiry. So if you apply for a Schengen 4 months to BRP expiry, they will only issue a max of 1 month visa. I read that somewhere but struggling to find the link. I hope I'm wrong but if anyon...

Travelling to Europe with less than 3 months expiry on BRP

Looking ahead to next year, my wife's BRP expires 31st Aug 2019. We were planning a 2-week summer break in central Europe (Italy, Switzerland. etc) around early July. As the Schengen requirements are that we have at least 3 months expiry on the BRP, does this mean there is no way to travel after Jun...

One last thing - IAM don't state where the appointment will be located, so if anyone knows, that would be very useful (somewhere in London).

Thanks for the link. We previously applied through VFS Global but looks like it has to be through IAM. Anyone any experience of IAM and how soon appointments are likely for ...

Looking to apply for a Schengen visa to Switzerland for my wife for travel on Aug 22nd to Aug 28. Re: Cash savings requirement for ILR

I just saw another posting from a few months ago that suggested the ILR savings requirement is £34,600, or have I misunderstood it and it remains at £62,500?

On next years SET(M) application, what are the cash savings requirements? The same.

thanks again

Cash savings requirement for ILR

Its still some way off but my wife's visa expires Sept 2019, which will make it 5 years. On the previous application, FLR(M), I showed savings of £62,500, and it was fairly straightforward at the premium centre. On next years SET(M) application, what are the cash savings requirements? Lastly, as I'm...
