National Checking Service (NCS)

Does anyone know if you can only use NCS only within your local council area where you normally reside?

Or it can be some other council?

Agree with Sky High,

Unless you've been charged and been to the court, there is nothing to worry about.

Re: WP - Tier 1 - ILR timeline question

Hello, I entered the UK on a WP on September 12, 2006, my WP was valid for 5 years until September 12, 2011. I have now switched to a Tier 1 General Visa, issued on August 19th, 2008, valid until August 19th 2011. The timing on this puts me a little under a month short of the required 5 years in or...

There arent many organasiations who would fund an overseas students education unfortunately.

Have enough money? stay as a student, otherwise unlikely.

I believe they will issue you Tier 4 visa and i know thats not your worry.

Its a silly silly mistake to make specially when your so close to be eligible ILR under 10 year LR.

As vinny said its eniterly case workers discreation, but make sure you apply by post.

Yes you can apply 28 days before the date stamped on your passport, you can apply in person at PEO or send it by post.

And yes there is a time limit, you should not have stayed outside UK for more than 180 days in total last 5 years and not more than 90 days at a stretch.

Twisting a same question again and again will not help you, you can not apply from within the country full stop.

Can i just ask what's the big deal if you went back home and applied?
