Re: MN1 Online Application Queries

Hi all,

One more query. Once my son is registered as a British citizen through MN1 process, will he directly get the passport or do I need to apply for his passport once he is registered as a British citizen?

Regards

Hi All, I have received my ILR through T2G Set(O) route. I applied on 21st April and decided to opt in for IDV App. Did my IDV submission on 25th Aug but there was no communication from UKVI after that. After that I finally decided to do dual bio-metric submission on 11th Sept at Guildford center an...

Looking at one of the posts that was shared on ILPA's tweet, it says they will ramp up to 4,000 applications per day (i.e. 20,000 per week) - so the question is will the app not be working on the weekends?...
May be they will not send out invitations on weekends.

Child born in UK before either parents had ILR

Hi, My son was born in Dec 2019. At that time neither of his parents had an ILR. We haven't applied for his Indian Passport yet. Now recently I have got ILR. I have read through different forums that now I can apply for my son's British Citizenship through MN1 process. My question is that if I don't...

Lost my Job when ILR application is in process

Hi All, I have applied for ILR through Tier 2 General Route in April 2020. Because of pandemic I had to apply for the slower route. I have also recently submitted all my documents to HMRC through email and might give my biometric as well within 2-3 weeks as now the UKVCAS centers are open. But today...

Re: Lost job after applying for ILR

I also got to know that home office has now suspended all the priority service and accepting only standard service which may take 26 weeks to get an ILR. The above statement is incorrect. Where have you heard this? Currently biometric process offered by UKVCAS is suspended due to the pandemic. This...

Re: Can Tier 2 General Visa Holders claim child benefit for UK born child

Can I claim child benefit for my child? No you cannot. Your visa clearly states no recourse to public funds. If not, can I claim it from past date when I get my ILR next year? You can only claim from the date you get ilr. You will not get backdated payments for time before you get ilr as you are no...

It is not about price it is about getting refused then the uphill struggle thereafter ever to get to visit visa.
Until they have a bomb proof travel history of returning home it just will not be considered.
Ok. Thanks Frontier. Will apply for 6 months visa this time. May be 2 or 5 year next time.

Earliest date of ILR application for Tier 2 general visa

Hi, I have a strange situation which I am unable to find anywhere in the topics. My Tier 2 general visa issue date is 04-Nov-2014 valid for 1 year. But I entered UK on the same visa on 17-May-2015 i.e more than 6 moths of Visa issue date. I have read in many blogs that if I would have entered within...
