I just think its lame to have a relationship with someone that is not a one night stand in which a baby is involved and to not be willing to get married to keep the mother in the country,...

Yuk. If it were a one stand then you would understand ? [/quote]

I do know where SYH is coming from but even though we see people partaking of course of actions we would never do ourselves or we see to be blatantly wrong there is nothing wrong with pointing this out in a tactful way.

Are you female SYH?

Don't be too upset mate. Find a legitimate way of getting a visa extension. I don't think you need to declare pregnancy to the Home Office.

Tin tin tin
Actually that is a question we would ask you
Why doesn't someone during the appt ask questions during the process, be curious and help the board please

Because we are all too busy praying.

And asking that will set off alarm bells?

Well, I quote you because I have read alot of your posts. There is a strong theme to them. Rule breakers deserve to be punished. Fine if that is your view you are entitled to it of course but by definition advice is "an opinion or recommendation offered as a guide to action, conduct " That...

The guidance discusses what things they are interested in when contact HMRC, suggest you read it. In any case, I don't see the point of hypothesizing what can you doif you broken the conditions of the visa, either they catch you or they don't so you are playing russion roulette but remember you bro...

So from what I have read are we saying that if someone goes to apply for a visa, say an indefinite leave visa, that the Home Office is going to check whether they have conformed to the conditions of their stay before granting the new visa - and this check based on the NI number ? Are we sure this is...

Hi penanglad, Thanks for your valuable input. I really appreciate your time. You quoted from the immgration order 2000 (arrival and departure). So, am I to understand - can you confirm - that even if I had a valid visa back then in 1999 when I left the UK and returned it would still mean that I woul...

sakura is 100% right. I think it should be the other way around. The English should learn how to lighten up and how NOT to queue from us immigrants. Like why queue at a bus stop. Five different buses coming to the stop and no one knows what bus another is waiting for and some guy wants to form a que...

Best would be to wait until 2009...[/ quote] Point taken but why wait. If I am refused then I appeal. I am refused there then I re apply in 2009. Unless there is some existing reason that I don't know about or some change in the law that would stop me from reapplying in 2009. But there is a chance ...

There are curently no checks on departure so it should be unlikely that overstaying would be picked up on. However, if it does come to their attention as best I know a line or lines are drawn through the visa. Not sure if there is a specific stamp for overstaying.

Taking the test shortly. The issue isn't doubt regarding facts. The issue is the one month gap outside the UK. Putting money aside for the moment don't you think an in person application will increase my chance of success seeing that I get to speak with the caseworker. Does this not give me a better...
