The HO has confirmed

Yes, you can enter the UK anytime within the validity of your visa. However, you should be aware of the requirements to be granted an extension of stay as a highly skilled migrant. Further details can be found on our website www.workingintheuk.gov.uk.

At the port of entry, can one can be denied entry on arrival after several months of EC issue?

I was under the impression that Entry can be made anytime before the valid till date mentioned on the visa.

Do I have to inform BHC of my change of employer while my application for EC is in progress.

Do they verify the current employer and may reject the application for the given reason?

They are semi-liquid assets - can be encashed anytime with ONLY loss of interest.
