Not a problem, your new visa will be valid from when they consider your application, not from the visa expiry date as mentioned on HO website When to apply We encourage you to make your application at least 1 month before your current permission to stay expires. Keeping in mind, they grant you extension from the date of approval then
what is the point of applying 2 years early, when they give you only 2 years visa?.

My understanding is, they will consider minimum critera to qualify not the salary level. For example. If I got my visa extended under the salary band 35+ though my requirement was only 30K. I will be able to qualify next time, if my income falls under the band 30, as long as i am qualifying and the ...

How long can you extend your stay? If we approve your extension application, you will be able to continue living and working in the UK for a maximum period of three years (or two years if you are currently a Tier 1 (General) migrant whose current permission to stay was granted before 6 April 2010)....

HI,

I am with LLoyds TSB since i came to UK, and never have had any problem with the bank statements.

In few cases i needed the online statement signed and stamped, and they did it for me. If one branch doesnt do it, you just need to go to another branch.

Hi there, 1. There is no restriction of studying under Tier1 visa. You need points at the end to apply for extensions. This is tricky that your employer will let you study full time while you are working full time. So if you opt for full time study, no salary points means if you need an extension, y...

Hi, I am in the same boat, and thinking whether I should go for an early extension or not. Did you try Ho...
