[/quote] If you look at Michael123 's post on 14-November, you'll see that DFA told him that they were currently reviewing applications received 9-August, and that they thought they would process about 100 applications in a month's time. So his application was just waiting in a queue for three month...
Like sean015, I also received my email that the application and supporting documentation were received on August 3. I have not heard anything further, But I see it as "no news is good news".
My application was delivered on 8/20 according to fedex tracking ( 2 days before you) but Dublin says it was recieved on 8/21 (1 day before you). I also sent 2 applications in the same package and 2 emails were also received by both applicants, myself and my cousin. Where are you located? Boston here.
Yes, please let us know. Also, When I called he mentioned that he saw that I had called on 10/30. Apparently that is also kept on record. If they replied to the emails, it would be helpful. I sent 2 inquiries and dis not get a reply. Im just hoping to have my FBR by Christmas. Im glad that Thanksgiv...
Sorry to hear that Koolboy. At least your documents are there. Imagine how shocked you would have been if you called and they said “who? We dont have any documents here for you! When did you send them?”
I called Dublin this morning. The man said “we are currently reviewing applications that were recieved on 8/9 and yours was recieved on 8/21, there are about 100 ahead of you. So, I would give it about a months time.”
So, it appears that Sean015 is being reviewed now maybe even the 2nd stage.
I have noticed that, the UK applications must go through the embassy. In USA, we apply online, pay fee and send documents and printed application directly to Dublin. I think I am closest to JPauls application timeline as he is in USA also with a date of 7/12 and I am 8/20 Jpauls, has Dublin recieved...
Tom’s application was successful and he recived his FBR exactly 13 weeks from when it was recieved. As I approach my 12th week I am getting anxious. I had sent an inquiry a few weeks back and did not get a reply. I called and was told that my application was recieved and they had just started lookin...
If your mother was born in Ireland, you are automatically an Irish Citizen. You do not need to register with the FBR, you can skip this step and go directly to the passport application process. Assuming you and your sister have the same mother, that would also apply to her.
I sent off my two new birth certificates this morning. After receiving them yesterday, it's amazing how much more info they put on it when it's for the purpose of dual citizenship. Dublin should receive them next week (sent directly to the employee processing my application) and I'm hoping that wil...
